You know, when we do this mandala, we are offering the universe to all of the Lamas of the lineage who have passed on these teachings.
And I was thinking as I was doing it tonight that all of them are smiling right now.
They're all really happy that we're passing down these holy teachings again so well.
maybe after many years of not really passing them down.
I mean, this is an amazing thing we're doing, right?
To really bring alive these practices and these teachings in a real way, again, after the ancient times.
So we'll start with the meditation again tonight.
Last one.
So get in a comfortable seated position that you can be still in for several minutes.
Place your hands comfortably on the left of your knees and close your eyes gently.
Focus for a minute at the tip of your nose.
Watch the breath as it goes out and then back into your body.
See again the holy, perfect angel, llama before you.
Ask them for the blessing.
to achieve the true goal of these teachings.
Getting the winds in the central channel,
seeing emptiness directly.
They happily agree to rise up in the air and turn around, getting smaller and smaller,
come to the tip of your head and melt down inside you.
You receive the blessings, you become a being of light, light, film.
picture the outside of your body as made of nothing but color and light, perfect form.
Most beautiful, exquisite being you can imagine.
Now inside, picture everything inside of yours, perfectly hollow, an empty shell, empty vessel,
nothing but the clear blue sky
empty space
go down from there
tip of your head out of your toes
see nothing but empty space
light blue inside
Thank you.
Now, picture your center channel running from the space between your eyebrows all the way up and then down where your backbone needs to be, coming all the way down to your name.
It is red, the color of fire, the name of the light.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Then on either side, there's two side channels coming up from either nostril, running alongside the center channel.
The left is milky white, the right is blood red.
They come and meet at the place just below you, Neha.
All three channels intersecting.
.
Now we're going to do liberal vote group, but since we are already fully enlightened beings,
we don't have any negativities in our channels, we are just going to make offerings out to the streets of Manhattan without breath.
So, from the left-hand channel, we are going to breathe out understanding of emptiness.
From the right-hand channel, we are going to breathe out love and compassion.
and from the center channel
we'll do that
the bliss of
invisible bliss and
voidness
same emptiness directly
so
take a breath in
all the way down to your navel
and then breathe out
through the left hand channel
slowly
and then breathe back
into the left
then breathe back to the right hand channel
making your up and
sending out like a light
breathe back in
Then breathe in through the center channel.
Comes out through the spot between your eyebrows.
And breathe back in.
Breathe out to the left.
And back in to the left.
Breathe out through the red.
Then back in through the red.
Breathe out through the central chain.
And back in through the central chain.
Continue on your own.
Try to lengthen the exhale.
Try to get yourself all the way inside the channel that you're breathing in.
See it as it's traced all the way from the needle out.
Okay.
into the inhale and the exhale.
Try to float there for a minute, each breath.
At read, exhale, see it getting longer and longer out the room, out the walls of the building, entering into the city's blessings.
Thank you.
He's describing the state of laya, or dissolution.
And it says, all your thoughts are cut off, and every single one of all your different desires,
you go into a dissolution which is born of itself.
a dissolution beyond the reach of words.
We wanted to talk about three different ideas here.
One, that when you reach a deep spiritual state of realization
that all your thoughts are cut off,
and then secondly, that all your desires are cut off,
which is not right,
and then thirdly, that this state is beyond the reach of words.
And none of them are what they sound like.
The first one, "All your thoughts are cut off."
"Sankalpa."
So this is their new DVD.
The first number is wrong.
It says, "2,367 searchable ancient Tibetan texts."
100.
Which we threw in at the last minute.
Then 132,231 texts in Catalan,
and 2,038 pages of copyright-free English translations.
Then it says, "All free, use it."
This is what we're celebrating tonight.
So we're going to practice not thinking.
We'll practice not thinking on this thing.
First, look at this new DVD as if – I think everyone's getting one, right?
Yeah, you're all getting a free one.
Look at it as if it were in my head, as if it were appearing to you.
That's the way you were looking at it when I held it up by the way.
Now imagine something different.
It is coming out of your own eyes.
It's like a movie.
Your brain is a movie projector,
and it's coming out of your own eyes.
It's being produced by...
You made it.
Each person here made it.
It wasn't made in a CD factory,
or a type in India,
that's how it was
produced but not why
got the difference?
so now I'm going to hold it up again
and immediately you
imagine that it's coming out of your own eyes
ready?
one, two
or out of your camera
is an interesting idea
really
do you have any thoughts
at that moment that it was coming from my side?
Hopefully not.
Okay, got it?
That's what it means here to have no thoughts anymore.
That's what it means here.
It doesn't mean what?
Because how would that help anybody?
What's the use of that?
I mean, here people explain it that way.
It's very, very wrong.
What, space out, stare at the wall?
How's that going to save people in your mouth?
You see what I mean?
What's that do for anybody?
But if you believe that this is coming from you,
then you can work harder to help people.
And then this will slowly filter into your civilization,
and then your world will change.
It will become an enlightened world.
So that's very helpful.
But just to space out and don't think about anything,
it's not what he means.
And never think that.
Sankampa means a different thing.
That's a different thing.
Okay?
Please never think that.
You can space that out tomorrow morning.
But that's different.
Okay.
Then it says, give up all your desires.
You know, and then people say, it's wrong.
Get your life.
Get your life up there.
And the people from Toronto fly in and they bring a dozen.
What's his name?
Tim Horton donuts for him, you know.
You know, because he made a joke about it once.
And he must have desires.
And certainly His Holiness and Vailama wouldn't have desires, right?
Then I don't know.
Vailama and I went down to Washington, D.C.
We went to a fundraiser that was being held in honor of His Holiness.
And we sat in the audience.
And His Holiness was like two rows up on the end.
So I could spy on one who was buried.
And what's his name?
Frida.
Richie Havens played.
And he was like, his holiness was like,
you know,
it looks like he's enjoying the music, you know?
Does he have desires?
And then,
and then,
oh yeah, what's his name?
Indiana Jones.
Harrison Ford came up and gave a talk,
and Kevin said, I think I know who that is.
And I said, is that Indiana Jones?
And then His Holiness was like this, you know, and then I think Roberta Flack came, and then we went to dinner.
And I don't know, it was like 50 people at dinner with the Holiness.
And then he sat down, and he started, and he like attacked that dinner, you know.
And I was watching him, and he was like, you know, and then he was enjoying it, right?
He was desiring it.
And then people get into this problem of, you know, if you want to save the world, is that a desire?
Can you desire to save the world?
Can you desire that people in Iraq not get hurt anymore by us?
Is that a desire?
And is that a wrong desire?
And you have to say, no, that's a good desire.
These are all good desires.
So I think on this second part here where you give up all your desires, it means a different kind of desire.
it means a different kind of desire.
The last time desire made you angry
at someone, that was a wrong desire.
To try to get the things
you want by
outsmarting or outcompeting
or going around other
people or taking it from them,
getting to the things faster
than other people,
those are wrong desires.
To desire things
to enjoy is not wrong.
To get things which are beautiful and healthy
is a good thing.
And to understand that you must do that
by helping other people,
and that's the only way,
is a good thing.
The Buddha is beautiful,
and he lives surrounded by all these beautiful beings.
And it's not like he doesn't desire to live in beauty,
or he doesn't desire that people be happy.
And so when you say desires here, it has to be the kind of desire that is selfish.
It's the kind of desire that says, I will get this thing if I can outsmart these people,
or I can be faster, or I can outcompete these people, or like that.
You get all the things you ever dreamed of by providing them for others first.
And that's a very healthy desire.
And you will reach a very beautiful place.
You get all your wishes come true if you concentrate on what other people's wishes are.
And that's the only way to have all your wishes come true.
But it's good to have wishes, like that.
Okay, third one.
Beyond the reach of words.
In Tibetan it's in, or in, in,
and means no one could describe it.
And this is talking about high spiritual states beyond words.
And it doesn't mean that you can't talk about these states.
The person who wrote this book, Swami Svathmarama wrote this book,
because he believed, well, he could describe it to you.
Otherwise, he wouldn't write the book that tells you it's in desire.
No, so he's trying to communicate something to you.
And yogis who have had high experiences,
because the nature of that experience is to bring happiness and peace to people,
of course they wish to communicate it to others.
Of course they spend their whole lives trying to convey it to others
by written means, by music, by film, whatever works in your time, they will use those media.
Of course, it's describable.
And of course, they want you to get it.
They say the highest quality of an enlightened being is what?
It's the ability to teach.
If you say what's the highest quality of a Buddha, it's that they come and teach.
And that's why we're emphasizing that all of these courses are to teach you to teach.
Because then you become like a Buddha.
The moment you start teaching beautiful ideas, holy ideas to people, you are already doing what Buddhists do.
So then it's the greatest thing for you.
It's the greatest thing in your heart is to learn to teach.
So of course they want to describe it.
And of course you have to take this course
and all the other courses we've been doing here.
This is like the third year, I think.
You must learn to teach them.
You must learn to pass them on.
We're just one more link in the chain.
And we are what we call, what do you call it?
We are caretakers of the knowledge.
We are just caretaking.
And then we pass it on to the next generation.
and then they have to pass it on to the next generation.
So you know it's been 41 generations with this particular teaching.
So don't be a schmuck and ruin it now.
You know, don't let them write the history book that says,
"It went 41 generations and stopped it to even move to yoga on 13th and Broadway in 2007
because the people didn't do the homework."
Oh, we didn't write the homework.
Okay, so that's your responsibility.
But the experiences themselves, what does it feel like to open your heart chakra?
What does it feel like to see a light which has no color, no form, come out of your heart?
What does it feel like to ride on this light and see the faces of countless beings with your eyes closed in a few minutes' time?
These things can't be described in the way that you will suddenly see that.
They cannot be described.
But they sound so beautiful that you get an instinct.
Something in your heart tells you.
I call it instinct.
We had a dog at, right?
She wanted to call it.
What did you want to call it?
A little dog?
No, but you had a name.
She made this.
We had this nasty, naughty.
Huh?
Kitchen or something?
Chihuahua. At the very first little center we had in New York, like six people came to that center. It was in Hell's Kitchen. Everybody got their car broken into every night. And
there were guys wandering around with guns.
I was like, "Look, there's a guy, why don't you get on the street with a gun?"
He's like, "Ahhh!"
I said, "Get on the other side of the street."
I'm like, "Come on, come on."
But there was this dog, Pancho Pia.
I changed his name to Pancho Pia, because he was a chihuahua.
I remember, I'll tell a story about Punso, since he's not here.
So the night before he became a mom, he sewed his own robes.
He was up until 3 o'clock in the morning,
sawing his robes on the night,
and downstairs in the center.
And then I said,
well, put them on and come up and show me.
And he did.
But he walked by Panchabilla on the way up the stairs.
And he had this thing where he'd go,
and he would just pee on you like that.
And so he did this thing like this,
and I went,
And then, and Hoonsook is like, "How do you like him?"
I'm like, "Yeah, they look good."
And I thought, "Why tell him?"
Because he's up all night already.
And he's a really malicious little dog.
But the only person he really bit was someone who was angry.
Someone who came to the center who was angry.
and who didn't really have faith.
And there was one person like that.
And then one day he bit this person.
Right? So dogs have an instinct.
They smell. Right?
They smell who likes dogs and who doesn't like dogs.
No matter what you say to them, they don't believe it.
They have a...
Dr. Taylor once told me,
he goes up to every dog and he says,
"Good dog! Good dog! Good dog!"
I said, "Dr. Taylor, how do you know it's a good dog?"
He said, "You didn't bite me."
I said, "Good dog."
But you also have this instinct.
Human beings have this instinct.
When I say it's possible to close your eyes,
and the heart chakra opens,
and you ride this colorless life, clear life,
to receive countless beings,
you sense there's some instinct that tells you it's true.
Some kind of instinct in you tells you it's possible.
So it cannot be described exactly.
But I think no person can hear it said,
no person can hear the truth said
and not instinctively feel something said,
to some extent.
So it's not exactly indiscriminate.
Verse 33.
Bhutanam, dve alakshya, layam, gatte.
Your dissolution is wherever your focus is,
and your elements and powers are interlocked with it too.
The feminine power of Shakti maintains the life of the elements.
You pass into the dissolution free of either sign.
So this is a rather laden verse. There's a lot of things in this verse, but we want to dance, so we'll make it short.
Your dissolution is wherever your focus is. This is talking about how do we get to layah, how do we get the winds to enter into the center channel.
We said yesterday that the winds enter and then they dissolve where?
Were you here yesterday?
Come on, you can't remember.
Yeah, yeah, thank you.
The winds dissolve.
Ultimately, the winds have to dissolve in your heart center.
It's the place of the mishikpe tegle, the indestructible drop.
And everything collapses in there just like in the stages of death.
And it all has to come into the central channel and then it has to dissolve here.
This is the place where everything is being projected.
And it's the place where everything has to collapse back in order to get into the direct perception of emptiness.
This all sounds very familiar.
Like yesterday I heard this.
Okay.
So, but how do we get the winds into the center channel at the heart?
There are many different ways.
There are many different crucial points, which you would call maybe chakras,
of the body that you could focus on and gather the winds
so that they would enter into the center channel.
You know?
And to tell you the truth, the heart chakra is not usually a place
that you would want to focus because it would give you...
Yes, you did listening.
Yes, it would give you a load.
So you don't really want to focus on the higher chakra so much.
So you can actually get the winds to dissolve into the center channel.
Something like the navel chakra and the lower chakras is much easier for the winds to get, enter and stay and dissolve.
What's the sign that the winds have entered the center channel?
The breath equals out through both nostrils.
What's the sign that they stay?
You stop outer breathing through your nose at all.
And then there's disillusion.
There's lots of stages that we didn't quite cover.
So this is talking about how to get the wings to dissolve into the central channel at some place like the navel chakra,
where you would just focus your mind at a certain crucial point there.
Like sometimes you would focus it on a special syllable that your holy teacher would give you, and you would just let the winds follow the mind.
You would be so concentrated at that crucial point that all the winds would gather there.
And then you would get a dissolution process happening, but eventually it migrates up to the center channel in the heart.
It doesn't matter where your focus is, is what the verse is talking about.
Your elements and powers are interlocked with it too.
Elements, Buddha, and powers, Indriya.
Do you remember what this is from the Yoga Sutra?
Yeah, the Indriyas are your sense powers, your powers of sense,
like your eye consciousness, your ear consciousness, your taste, power of taste.
And there are secondary winds in the body that control these consciousnesses.
Like there's a wind that makes it possible for you to see.
And there's a wind that makes it possible for you to taste something.
And there's all these different winds in the body that are controlling the elements in your body.
Like the fact that you've got any kind of solidity in you is a certain, you know, it's controlled by a certain wind.
And there's a fire wind.
There's a wind that carries heat throughout the body.
And so this is actually a sign of the physical body.
You know, the elements and the sense consciousnesses together make up our physical body.
When we stop breathing, the Shakti or the feminine power maintains the life of these elements.
So we go into the central channel and we stop breathing, so what's feeding the physical body?
Why doesn't the physical body die when we stop breathing when the wind goes into the central channel?
Because it's being fed by something higher.
It's being fed by a pure prana that's entered the center channel.
Once the wind enters into the center channel, it becomes shakti.
It becomes this pure force, which Gisla likes to call the feminine power, shakti.
And I think we'll talk about it a little bit more the next time we come to New York.
because, you know, but just to give you a little taste of, so this feminine power, this shakti
that you create, it's like a new prana in your body that you create, it's a purified prana,
because it entered the center channel, and so it's like power, it's like pure power, and
not only does it maintain your body while you're in the direct perception of emptiness,
But after you come out, it is responsible for transforming your body into a body of life.
So this Shakti is pretty important.
It allows us to transform the butendriyas, the elements and the sense powers, into something pure and something holy.
Last part, you pass into the dissolution free of either sign.
Here sign is a laksha.
Say a laksha.
A laksha.
Lakshana or senma in Tibetan means sign or indication of a thing.
And it's like, you see like a round black thing and then like a silver black thing inside of it.
And then you see this like on top of it, there's like this shape like this.
And you're like, ah, I get all these signs.
It looks like the back of a car, you know?
And so it's the indication that your eyes pick up, that it's like they tell you the hint of a thing.
That's what a sign is.
It's like the hint of a car.
You see a round thing and another round thing and a half round shape here and a square thing over here,
and your mind puts together all these signs and it calls it car.
That's a car.
And it's like you're identifying the car from the signs that you're getting from your eye, right?
But normally, all of these signs are like mistaken signs
because it looks to us like there really is a car out there, you know?
We don't know that we're just picking up colors and shapes instant by instant
and we're piecing together to form objects in our world.
Is the car out there from its own side?
Some of you are not sure.
I'll tell you, it's not, it's not, it's not.
The car isn't out there from its own side.
We are just, we are picking up like little hints of a thing
and we are pasting our projection onto those hints, right?
We're just seeing like round shape here and round shape there and another little shape here and like maybe a square shape there.
We're saying that's the door of a car, you know.
And all of these stories that we place on top of these signs are all mistaken.
They're all lies, right, because they're all telling us there's a car out there.
And it's because we don't recognize them as signs.
So once we get into Laya, once we get into the dissolution, like we talked about yesterday, we have this experience where every single sign that we've ever seen in our entire
lifetime comes crashing in to the center.
And we realize them for what they are.
We see them as mental images, as just mental images coming from our minds.
And then when we come out, we can recognize them as signs.
So that's what it's talking about when it's talking about passing into the disillusion free of either sign.
Either means sign of the world out there or sign of yourself, right?
Subjects are objects, you know.
You are free of thinking that the car exists out there and you are free of thinking that you exist out there as well.
Because you are also just like a composite of these parts put together, you know, labeled.
You can't experience your whole body at one time if you've ever tried.
You can't experience feeling your entire body at one time.
You think you have an image of a whole body, but like you feel an elbow and then you feel like a wrist over here.
If you sit down in meditation and try it, one by one, feelings will come to you, and you're pasting together those feelings and calling it a body.
But there is no body out there.
There's just these moment-to-moment experiences of signs ripening.
And it's the same with our mind.
It's exactly the same with our mind.
We don't have a consciousness.
We have moment-to-moment experiences of thoughts ripening.
And we take those and put them together and gather them together and say, that's my mind.
But there is no way to gather them together because the thought has passed.
It's already gone.
You cannot collect all your thoughts together.
You cannot have a mind.
You can just have moment-to-moment thoughts right with you.
And that's how we are mistaken about ourselves as well, right?
And when we go into Leah, when we go into the dissolution, when we go into the center channel, we see that directly for the first time.
We're on verse 34.
People talk about it.
Dissolution, dissolution.
But how many really understand what it looks like?
In the dissolution, we lose all awareness of any object at all
because the mental seeds for them can never arise again.
There's two important ideas here.
He uses here the words vishaya vismurti,
which means we lose all awareness of any object.
Usually they use nir alambana.
Say nir alambana.
What does it mean to do a headstand near Alambanda?
Like Dharma Mitra.
Yeah.
Alambanda means a support.
Near Alambanda means you just do a headstand without using your arms.
That's near Alambanda.
I'm very sad we're doing it tomorrow.
Okay, let me just say okay.
What's that in Tibetan?
Hear Alambana.
It's a star of a famous mantra.
Migme. Say,
say, Migme.
In Tibetan it's translated
Alambana as
Mikva.
Alambana literally means that which you hang something upon.
Like there's some kind of thing here on the wall.
I guess it's a temperature control thing and you can take it off, right?
So the holder would be an alambana.
That's a good example.
That's an alambana.
That's something you hang something on.
And then the thermostat thing that you can pull off and switch, you put it on there.
So alambana or mikvah in Tibetan means an object because you hang your mind on the object.
Like it's out there, right?
It exists out there like that holder.
And then your mind goes and sits on the object.
And so alambana means the object is supporting your awareness of the object in the same way that your arms are holding you up in the headspace.
Got it? Like here, right?
So, what does near alambana mean?
No arms.
Not using arms for the asana.
And it would mean no place to hang your mind.
No object to hang your mind on.
Right? Is that true?
What's the word for subject in Tibetan, for example?
What's the word in Tibetan for a subject?
Yul-chen.
Yul-chen means that thing which is holding on to an object.
The name for your mind in Tibetan, one of the names, is that thing which is holding on to an object.
So what's it mean when you say, we want to reach a state where there's no object to hang your mind on,
if that's the very name for your mind?
What does that mean?
What's Nir Alambana mean?
How many people can do a headstand without the house?
I mean, not even your fingers.
That's near all mine. And in Tibetan, it's very, very, very famous.
We have a teacher of His Holiness the First Daya Lama.
He's the founder of Arden News. They made this new robe for me, this guy from Colorado.
And I sent it back.
And he said, "Why?" And I said, "You forgot the blue, there's a little blue thread here."
And Jaisal Kappa, the teacher of the First Diyama, he designed the blue thread thing.
Some old lady gave him a top and she sewed some blue thread on it.
And it became a sign, a lakshana in our lineage that I'm a group of.
So I sent it back and he air me, he overnighted it, it got here today.
It's easier to dance in this room.
But it's connected here.
But anyway, Jensen Karpet is so important for us that we invented it.
We have a mantra for him, and it's the most famous mantra in Tibet.
And it starts out with,
Mykme, near Alambana.
Your love has no Alambana.
Your love for people has no Alambana.
You look at people and you love them, but you don't see them.
You look at people and you love them, but you don't see them.
And that's the highest kind of love there is.
That's hard.
That's hard to imagine.
You're supposed to love all people.
And not just the people you've met or just the people in New York,
but there will come a day when your love extends to all the living creatures on all the worlds.
There will come a day when you meet them, you see them, and you love all of them.
There will come this day.
But when that day comes, you will recognize that they don't exist.
That's very hard.
That's a very hard idea.
What does that mean?
They are coming from you.
They are coming from you.
They are suffering because what?
People in New York are getting old and dying.
Why?
Because you're getting older than that.
You see yourself in the world.
The world is a reflection of the current state of your spirit.
As long as you haven't overcome birth, death, and aging,
you will see it in the world in which you live.
They say when you get enlightened,
you're only surrounded by people who don't have these problems.
Because they're coming from you.
you see
so how do you love a person
that's coming from you
you see
and does that mean they don't really exist
are you just living in your head
somehow
and you should never think that
that's important
when you teach this you should have to teach it carefully
it's actually you're breaking a vow
if you don't teach it carefully
when you teach it you have to say
yeah
mind. But my mind is projecting them as people who are separate from me. And that's real.
And that's true. I love you. And I know you're coming from me. And I know you're coming from
me in a way that you are outside of me. So then my love is well-informed love. Why? Because
It's very profound.
I can save the world if I save myself.
It's a very interesting idea.
The biggest responsibility that a yogi has
is to become enlightened as soon as they can.
And then they will live in a world of enlightened beings.
You see?
Easy way to change the world.
Getting enlightened that way involves going out and helping people with your hands.
You know what I mean?
You see what I mean?
How do you change the world?
By changing yourself.
How do you change yourself?
Go out and serve people.
Okay?
So don't use it as an excuse to not serve people.
The only way is to serve people.
Okay?
I think it's a good place to stop.
ACIP.
By the way, there's two more holy subjects which we didn't finish.
And it's this Buddhist tradition to leave one or two important things in a talk like this that's going on for 10 days.
Because it means we must meet again to finish our work.
We didn't finish this teaching.
So we have to meet again.
I think in September.
Yeah.
and we have to go to the next chapter.
The two subjects are
Shambhadi Mudra.
It's a special
mudra here between the eyes.
And then Kecchari.
Which is called
the
Seal of the Sky Dancer.
The Seal of the Sky Dancer.
And it's a very holy practice
in our immediate language.
Bajayogini practice.
Kecchari.
The whole fourth chapter is Kecchari.
and very ancient traditional explanation of Christianity.
So we'll get into that.
So on the subject of serving people,
first I've got to do one thing.
I want to make two introductions, one by one.
So we were in three-year retreat.
During three-year retreat, we were introduced to yoga by Lady Ruth just before three-year retreat.
And then we continued during the three-year retreat.
And Holy Shen and David Gies, they came.
They flew out and helped us and trained us.
And then at some point during the three-year retreat, I think something happened to both of us
that we thought that there should be some meeting
between the Buddhists and the yogis,
the yoga yogis, you know.
Because a thousand years ago, we were one lineage.
And the lineage holders of the Hatha Yoga Pudipika,
there's about 25 listed in the second verse,
about half of them are considered
ancient forefathers of our Buddhist Tantric tradition.
So like Naropa, Matyendra, Chaurangi, Charpati, these are all Mahasiddhas in our tradition also.
So our lineages were once one.
A thousand years ago they split.
Then India was attacked from the Middle East and then we never got back together.
So we saw that it would be a very beautiful, holy thing if these two great lineages could recombine.
after a thousand years accidental separation.
And it has been a very beautiful remarriage.
And there's one person we asked,
we came out of the retreat,
we really didn't know anybody anymore.
And we didn't know who would be around,
that we still knew.
And we met this couple
and the first people we met actually, out of two-year retreat.
And so we grabbed them and we said, especially to Kimberly,
would you be willing to start a project or an organization
which just helps this remarriage happen?
Just facilitate this ancient lineage of getting back together.
And we often give projects to people.
There's a saying, there's a joke at that moment.
If you get within six feet of us, you get a project.
And some of them flourish and some of them don't.
But in the case of this person, she has taken something that was nothing.
Just an idea.
And then she has built it into this global thing.
All around the world, people are practicing Tibet and Hap Yaka.
Thousands and thousands of people.
And so sometimes you ask someone to help or something as a teacher,
and then they take it beyond your wildest dreams.
And I think for two reasons there has been a success.
One is that she has a true devotion to her teachers.
Whether we deserve it or not is another question.
but she believes in us
and she took it as
you know, Lama's request
so she took it as
you know, the Lama asked me
so I have to do it
and there's a power to that
and the second thing
was that she didn't own the thing
she has constantly
over and over again
shared the project
with every possible person
if there's any person she could get
that could grow within this project.
She has, at her own personal expense,
she has shared all the glory, all the karma,
all the work happily,
and with no, what do you call it?
Possessiveness of all of it.
And I think these two things are the power.
Fulfilling the lama's request,
even though the lama's may not be worthy of that.
And then secondly, truly sharing with every other person.
So we'd like to thank her for organizing this talk.
And Kimberly, do not do that.
Thank you.
because really, I really,
Lana gives me so much credit,
but really it's all of these people,
you will say,
who did all of these,
literally hundreds of hours of work for this,
and you should really start off
by giving this lady here,
Jessica Cone,
who would be a vector user.
I'd give you a round of applause.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Oh no, he's doing food right now.
Adagol is probably also doing food.
Adigol!
And just everyone, please, please, please, please,
please, please, please, please.
Stand up. Stand up.
Is it good?
Jeff, Bruce, Nicole.
SIRCON, organized by University of Michigan.
all these artists
And I thought that these images would be passed down visually, archivist, design.
Materials is really easy to share.
We only have two people.
Dolls and rings.
Isn't that the amazing work that they set up in Cina's series?
So Matt and Drew Derry can tell you about it.
And, um, yeah.
Your honor is here.
Stand up!
Thank you.
...
Thank you.
Thank you.
these teachings for us to put them in a format that we can understand in a way that my mind
can understand in modern vernacular from modern people in modern times.
We have these teachings perfectly to us, enable us and beg us to have to come to others.
And the best way to do holy teachers is to learn about and give you a commitment to your teachers.
To practice what they teach is the best option you can give them is to practice what they teach us.
This is, let's not take this as an achievement.
Let's see these teachers to live what they are.
Thank you.
Thank you.
A couple of hardcore years
started to type in ourselves
the topics of Judaism
as they survived in Israel.
And we got through the first book
and it took about six months of typing.
They were here for us.
and then we looked at what we had left to do.
And we figured out that it's not to do it
within 100,000 years to do it.
It's okay, exactly 100,000 years.
So, and we really wanted to do something
to help the refugees.
And so, I'm sorry to tell you to have
Thank you.
Thank you.
I want to see you at the top and just quietly,
pretty much allowing you to change
this important policy of the nation.
So I'd like to ask that you stand up
and then maybe you can go and show up at work.
First, Mr. Scott, Dr. Karen.
Applaus
Grazie.
Gracias.
Thank you.
This profoundly, almost inconclusive, that the possibility of us, this poor group of people, generating a 500-year vision, so we have 41 or 42 more on interwebters to the rest of
the nation.
I think at the beginning of this, cancer, the world needs to be needed so far.
So, it's been such a wonderful time.
And, you know, so many people have done this.
I've done some of it, but there's so many other people out there.
I'm not only with these that have really given the time to correct, qualify, get it.
The beautiful views around the world.
We have 113 people over the place throughout the world.
So it's this extraordinary time.
...
And this couldn't happen without the reason.
And I think, you know, the two-month-old.
You know, it's just, oh, I think I lost the kind of love in you.
But we heard that you were going to do a new season for one or five weeks.
We were only about four and a half days a week.
So all of you are now somebody else.
and she is the keeper of the dance.
And further last, I would say,
she is the keeper of the dance.
who I met when I met in this
and had our 10th
Yay.
and try this, you know,
where I'm in this place and
Thank you.
All night I needed to see it.
And there
the design team,
she was marketing and design.
She kept me on.
And Julie Hudson,
she's been really doing filming.
We're going to show a video.
I mean, I actually like this
.
So thank you.
Then, I mean, there's some of those.
And Galia, where is Galia?
Please.
Thank you.
We're going to be so much more.
I said that the new brand, the tag now for ACF is that we're going to be a true organization.
And these people have brought that into the community in a very big way.
We've changed, we've transformed, and it's the best we've ever done.
So that's enough.
We need to get this.
The Holy Namath, my Namath here,
have given a gift that, to me personally,
that it was almost like I never,
I never felt that I had a value in the work I had done before.
It was something like a mechanical existence of making money for other people.
It was a very strange world, corporate world, working in a business that demanded to many
to the time, the opportunity came, and I'm going to have to just briefly tell you a story.
Yes, you might have been kissing when I were talking, and they said, well, just like walk
down, and by the time you got to the laundry, I agreed to something I had no idea about.
What it was going to be like.
And when they went into retreat,
I remember this was like,
I'm so glad.
I'm just like,
you know,
good luck.
So,
it was,
it was,
it was a,
It was an act of truth that I didn't know what I was getting into, but I can't tell you.
The indescribable.
It's far beyond upside down.
It's the most remarkable adventure I've ever had.
Serving these beings.
You go overseas and you see the grassroots itself,
not the historical academic talent for the transatlantic stuff,
you see the content for the great transatlantic stuff.
You see women, the Tibetan refugee settlement camps,
I think you have 63 women going to grass.
They don't have to get on a bus and go three hours to get a monster and sell sweaters and crafts and streets.
It's so beautiful.
You'll go and they're sitting in the infestance.
And they work it out.
They have like a flex hour thing.
It says where the children come out of school and they bring them home and they feed them.
And they come back and work until 7 o'clock.
And they're giving really, really salaries.
It's not like the days, you know, we take care of them all that time.
You know, we give them money.
We help them build new houses and we give them money.
It goes beyond just, you know, need to.
So, you see this.
And you see the depth of how we can change the world.
You know, the game is there.
And then, you know, the users are like that.
So, it's just mind-boggling that, you know,
we have just been doing this class.
We're very missing.
And so, I'm so grateful that this is trust and risk.
So thank you.
And thank you.
Where's the ball?
The ball.
Oh, the ball.
It's right in front of you.
Oh, yeah.
One last thing.
We didn't realize one last thing.
I hope the immigrant
is going to have 19 versions of each one.
They're all different.
Each one has some correct views.
But just this one book that you studied,
it took many months to go through it carefully
and decide which of the 19 readings was correct.
And which was, some guy was copying out by hand
and he got distracted, some girl walked by himself
and he made a yarn to a raw or something.
It happened.
No, it's just, there's probably only 10 or 20 people really qualified to do this anymore.
And until they do it, you don't have the real wisdom.
It's not safe.
You see, we can have all the same type things, but it's wrong.
And so there's one part of this entity that we've been wanting to do for 20 years.
And that's how enough fun and a special place where we could attract the best scholars in Egypt and Tibet and have them come and help us fix the fact that we have mistakes in them.
All of them have a lot of mistakes in them.
And there's only that many people called fun.
In conjunction with that, I guess you know how he was here.
You've had the food product ceremony for 20 years.
It's feeding about 1,500 months every day.
And they are the judges who will come to America 1,500 years ago.
They are the next generation.
We have to take care of them.
They will do this big injection of wisdom into our country 1,500 years ago.
We have to plan ahead.
and we have to keep that going
there was a time when there was not enough food for them
and a lot of people were needing them
and one of the classes broke
it means there was no question
and Ken Rippish, our mama, got very upset
he was like crying
and then he tried to know
he would see any monks that were given to them
so people would come to bed
I know monks who came to the monks
they had their arms tied behind their back
they put some of their arms and they put them up in the van and broke their arms
and they tried to get out and
burning that little body because I cut you in the mother's
so um, this is a work
really hard to raise enough money to feed all of them
but he passed away and so Gishis outside of Iowa
how can we help keep it going?
And so we made a deal with the monastery.
The deal is this.
You want to kill these two birds of one stone?
They say, you, shall we stay?
Say, you, shall we stay?
Sharon David's not here so I can talk about this stuff.
And to that they say,
line up two deer and walk by each other
and you can run low at those two both ears.
It means could we collect all the tests that are mistaken, which will take 100 years, and can we feed the marks at the same time?
an offer to the monster we would like to start a special uh small modest building
this is like in india this means two rooms in an adobe little hut and we would like to have
some printers there and we will print out from this disk we will print out the 5 000 books that
as they put on it.
And then you send us gestures
to help fix the text
and send us calls
to my cell to help fix the text
and make them correct.
And we'll pay that.
We'll overpay that.
But every dollar you pay
to one of them,
you will pay $4 to your monster.
So it's kind of a blackmail.
Sacred blackmail.
Which we have done successfully
for many years.
So now, Christy and I are going to do the Sacred Black Mail on you.
This center to correct the ancient texts, Sanskrit ancient times,
we have proposed an 1893, 20 minutes ago.
But our mama's name was.
and so
I'll tell you later.
Read it.
To yourself.
We're going to stick it in the ball.
And then as you dance by the ball, just do it.
Okay?
Just do it.
It's not for us.
We'll be deaf by the time we get to the first 10% of the book.
It's not for us.
It's to save it for the world.
We are in a country that has enough money.
We are overpassed.
And they need it.
And we need the same system.
So don't hesitate.
And don't be, just do it.
And they're going to keep track tonight.
I think we have to dance for this program.
So just do it.
If you have any means at all, just do it.
Don't even think.
They don't use any of it for themselves.
It goes off to the ground.
100% of people, they haven't been paid for 15, 20 years.
Tell me.
- They're paying.
- They'll pay you, yeah.
So just do it.
If you don't hesitate, don't think about it.
Just give it to you.
That's fine.
