*Painful music*
**Speaker 1**
So, first, we have to get to the world.
**Speaker 2**
Ich habe eine Art von der ersten Blogs gemacht.
**Speaker 2**
It's a very, uh,
**Speaker 2**
Depictive word, right?
**Speaker 2**
It's a match.
**Speaker 2**
And it's sort of like that.
**Speaker 2**
Leptham means "shargo grammar"
**Speaker 2**
or "Bernim Grammar"
**Speaker 2**
It's translated in here.
**Speaker 2**
And in ancient,
**Speaker 2**
well actually not so long ago in India,
**Speaker 2**
maybe still in India,
**Speaker 2**
In ancient India you never bury a body.
**Speaker 2**
Still in the ancient India they don't bury their bodies, they burn them.
**Speaker 2**
And so there were places called the Charmergrounds or Burning Grounds or Smudge Grounds
**Speaker 2**
where you would take your dead body and then someone would lay it on a slab and they would burn it.
**Speaker 2**
or they'd put it on a pile.
**Speaker 2**
And normally, I don't know, not the entire body would work.
**Speaker 2**
There'd still be like pieces left over, you know,
**Speaker 2**
there'd be like an arm or a leg.
**Speaker 2**
And so the travel grounds were actually like
**Speaker 2**
this really kind of disgusting and rather dangerous place.
**Speaker 2**
And yogis in ancient India used to go and meditate on the sharnel ground so that they could have a sense of renunciation for what this body really was.
**Speaker 2**
You know, that it was all going to get old and die.
**Speaker 2**
It's all like going back to the earth.
**Speaker 2**
And you just sit there on some rotten corpse and like a calf burn.
**Speaker 2**
And then some hyena has taken out the leg and run off of it.
**Speaker 2**
Like maybe four of them were fighting over the bone with like a little bit of meat on it, you know.
**Speaker 2**
I think it was really a rocket kind of place to do your meditation and it would get in your mind very clearly.
**Speaker 2**
You're unintermittent and how you're going to die if you don't really make this practice happen in this way.
**Speaker 2**
So, like, if you were really serious about this practice, he would go sit in a jungle ground and he would stare at the rotting corpse and he would say,
**Speaker 2**
okay, I'm not leaving until I get into a state beyond that.
**Speaker 2**
So that's what Knaushma means.
**Speaker 2**
Now, why is it a metaphor for the social channel?
**Speaker 2**
It's the burning ground of all of our medical institutions.
**Speaker 2**
you ever notice when you get done with a reunite yoga class you walk out and for a couple hours
**Speaker 2**
during that day nothing can save you you know someone could scream at you on the street but
**Speaker 2**
You're so happy and like, "I love you."
**Speaker 2**
And they go, "I love you."
**Speaker 2**
They're like, you know, playing to you and you're like, "I love you."
**Speaker 2**
And any numerous amount of things could happen.
**Speaker 2**
So we could meet you at a diner and be like, "Hey, have the money."
**Speaker 2**
"Okay."
**Speaker 2**
And you're just so unpertensable.
**Speaker 2**
That's because when you were in your asana practice, some amount of wind started getting in towards the central channel.
**Speaker 2**
They got out of the two side channels.
**Speaker 2**
We used to talk about the two side channels and their little compatriots that make up the rest of your body.
**Speaker 2**
I know this is a review for some of you, but some of you are brand new to the core.
**Speaker 2**
We talked about it a little last night.
**Speaker 2**
You know, on the right, the hand channel starts here, and then it winds around at all the shocker points.
**Speaker 2**
And instead of shocker points, they're choke points.
**Speaker 2**
And it just strangles the central channel at each of these choke points.
**Speaker 2**
And then the left channel starts on the left-hand side and goes around at the same places.
**Speaker 2**
So it goes to the roof and it is locked, you know, here and here and here.
**Speaker 2**
Most of the time all of our winds are in one of the two side channels, or in either of the two side channels. They're not in the central channel.
**Speaker 2**
The right hand channel is like the channel of our anger, our impatience.
**Speaker 2**
The left hand channel carries the wind and the thoughts of selfishness and the grasping on things.
**Speaker 2**
So both of them carry winds of our negative states of mind, different negative states
**Speaker 2**
of mind.
**Speaker 2**
And these are the two main channels that we want to get rid of when we enter into the
**Speaker 2**
central channel.
**Speaker 2**
These are the two major mental afflictions that we want to snatch, that we want to burn.
**Speaker 2**
Also, in the right-hand channel, carry all of our misperceptions about the object of our world.
**Speaker 2**
And in the left-hand channel, carry all of our misperceptions about our subject's state of mind.
**Speaker 2**
If we didn't have misperceptions about objects, and if we didn't have misperceptions about ourselves, we could never have a negative thought.
**Speaker 2**
All of our negative thoughts come from misperceptions that we have.
**Speaker 2**
Say someone you know walks up to you and gets really angry at you.
**Speaker 2**
And something rises in you, like some kind of injustice.
**Speaker 2**
This person is angry and you have no reason to be angry at me.
**Speaker 2**
And you start to get angry back.
**Speaker 2**
What's happening in that moment? You're having a very strong misperception of that object. You're having a very strong misperception about this person who might be yelling at you. Right? Where does this person who is young that you come from?
**Speaker 2**
Where do they come from?
**Speaker 2**
They come from you, yes. They come from your mind. Everybody correct.
**Speaker 2**
You know, this person is a projection, right?
**Speaker 2**
The anger that we see in this person is a projection caused by what?
**Speaker 2**
Caused by us getting angry at somebody else in the past.
**Speaker 2**
Caused by us yelling at somebody else in the past.
**Speaker 2**
If we realized that when we stared at that person, could we ever be angry at them?
**Speaker 2**
No.
**Speaker 2**
If we really knew that they were actually coming from us, that they were actually coming from our own anger in the past,
**Speaker 2**
There would be no way we could ever get angry at them.
**Speaker 2**
Because, as they like to say, wisdom and ignorance can't be in the same line at the same time.
**Speaker 2**
So, the central channel is the channel of wisdom.
**Speaker 2**
The central channel is the channel of our understanding and care.
**Speaker 2**
So, this channel is like the burning ground for every single misconception that rides within the "thus" or "right" channel.
**Speaker 2**
We take the misperceiving winds and thoughts that are running in YouTube-style channels and we force them into the central channel.
**Speaker 2**
We dissolve them into the central channel and the central channel just burns them to dust.
**Speaker 2**
All of our misperceptions we completely destroy.
**Speaker 2**
Once we actually get someone completely into our central channel and we actually see them
**Speaker 2**
is directly, that's when they're really into it. That's when we actually, we're very,
**Speaker 2**
very close, we're on the road to getting to a point where we have absolutely no negative
**Speaker 2**
thoughts whatsoever. Imagine, imagine what it's like not to ever have any kind of anger
**Speaker 2**
or even slight irritation or even slight impatience ever again.
**Speaker 2**
I mean, it's almost difficult to even imagine it, right?
**Speaker 2**
To even imagine what that clear mind is left,
**Speaker 2**
to not have any kind of afflictions in your mind ever.
**Speaker 2**
So that state is what we call your mind.
**Speaker 2**
And in order to get to that state beyond any kind of mental affliction,
**Speaker 2**
you must take the window to the central channel.
**Speaker 2**
You must see any mystery.
**Speaker 2**
Then the next metaphor for the central channel is called Shambhavi.
**Speaker 2**
Say Shambhavi.
**Speaker 2**
Shambhavi.
**Speaker 2**
Shama comes from a root of sham. Do you guys remember what sham means? It means to endure.
**Speaker 2**
And it means klam is the end of your dream or the root that comes from that and you get the word calm and quiet from it.
**Speaker 2**
So Shama comes to me in peace, right? Like Shanti, Shanti, Shanti. It's the same word. But it also has a meaning of bliss.
**Speaker 2**
And then Pavi comes from the root Gu which means to be.
**Speaker 2**
And root?
**Speaker 2**
Gu?
**Speaker 2**
Build?
**Speaker 2**
Be?
**Speaker 2**
Physics?
**Speaker 2**
Yeah, you guys are good.
**Speaker 2**
I'm hoping that in your study groups you're learning a little bit of the Sanskrit.
**Speaker 2**
It's really good for your mind.
**Speaker 2**
Sanskrit is a holy language, it comes from your inner body.
**Speaker 2**
Ancient yogis of the past, they meditated very deeply on the chakra at their navel that has the 64 petals,
**Speaker 2**
and they came up with the 54 letters of the Sanskrit alphabet.
**Speaker 2**
And the sounds that run through the channel are the sounds of the Sanskrit alphabet.
**Speaker 2**
So whenever you learn Sanskrit a little bit, whenever you say Sanskrit, it's like there's a resonance inside of you, inside of your inner body, that's not there with other languages.
**Speaker 2**
I mean, everything, English from Sanskrit, there's a lot of Sanskrit roots found in the English language, but it's not the same as speaking the original.
**Speaker 2**
So it's nice, you get this little bit, like the keywords are a good place to start.
**Speaker 2**
So, Shonda means, here it means a source of bliss.
**Speaker 2**
And the "E" is a feminine ending.
**Speaker 2**
So it's the lady source of bliss. The lady bliss giver.
**Speaker 2**
Dejun Lan, the better.
**Speaker 2**
Why is the special channel called the Lady Blitz Giver?
**Speaker 2**
I think we're going to be talking a lot about this, but there are many different kinds of blitz in the scripture.
**Speaker 2**
You know, there's a kind of bliss that you get when you reach a very deep state of concentration, a single point of concentration on your object.
**Speaker 2**
Like, you're sitting there imagining your body in the sky, and then you're feeling that spot at the lower point in the central channel, you know, between your feet and legs.
**Speaker 2**
and then you're feeling the point at the tip of the head.
**Speaker 2**
And then if you can get completely single-pointed on that object of meditation
**Speaker 2**
without hearing any noise that's coming from the hallway,
**Speaker 2**
without feeling any of the people that are around you,
**Speaker 2**
without even worrying about your own outer body or your own breath,
**Speaker 2**
if you can just be totally immersed in that object
**Speaker 2**
For the length of time that you designate, you know, you reach something called Shomakas or Shine, right?
**Speaker 2**
Stillness.
**Speaker 2**
It's called Meditative Stillness.
**Speaker 2**
And you get a kind of flick that goes with Meditative Stillness.
**Speaker 2**
And it's very, it's like your whole life you've been darting around to different objects of focus throughout the day.
**Speaker 2**
It's, what do you call that?
**Speaker 2**
ABD.
**Speaker 2**
You're like constant ABD.
**Speaker 2**
Like since the moment you were born you just had ABD.
**Speaker 2**
You're like him, him, him, you know, cups, you know, smartphones, paper, blah, blah, blah.
**Speaker 2**
You're like not ever allowing your mind to sit and focus on one single point this day for an extended period of time.
**Speaker 2**
And it's kind of like a food to the mind. Concentration is like a food.
**Speaker 2**
And when we get to that state, it's like this really quiet, but like you've been like this your whole life,
**Speaker 2**
and then all of a sudden you're like the application just goes and you're just in this peace.
**Speaker 2**
Which is why shamatha comes from the shama word which means peaceful, right?
**Speaker 2**
But that is not the kind of bliss that they're talking about.
**Speaker 2**
That's a different kind of bliss.
**Speaker 2**
Then there is a kind of bliss that you get during some kind of yoga experience, maybe after a really good action or practice, or if you've been practicing Kaniyama for a long time,
**Speaker 2**
You get to the point where your outer breath starts to slow down and thin and then slow
**Speaker 2**
and then thin and then slow and then thin and then slow and then thin and then finally
**Speaker 2**
it just stops.
**Speaker 2**
and you don't have any outward breath anymore.
**Speaker 2**
And that's the kind of bliss, that state where you have gone into your internal body, your inner body.
**Speaker 2**
Like you're still breathing but it's your innerness.
**Speaker 2**
You're no longer having this outward rough breath.
**Speaker 2**
But that's not the kind of blitz that they're talking about.
**Speaker 2**
So we're kind of narrowing it down, you know?
**Speaker 2**
We're going through all those blitzes that it's not in order to get to the blitz that it actually is.
**Speaker 2**
Those are the bliss that you get when there are certain practices where you imagine an angel in front of you and they are helping you with your inner body.
**Speaker 2**
You know, they are sending you light to certain chakras and they are triggering certain things inside you.
**Speaker 2**
And there is a certain kind of bliss that you get during this practice.
**Speaker 2**
Not that kind of bliss.
**Speaker 2**
That's okay.
**Speaker 2**
Then there is a bliss.
**Speaker 2**
But it's fun to talk about all the different kinds of bliss.
**Speaker 2**
Then there's a practice that you can do with a partner, like an outer physical partner, where you do certain yoga practices together.
**Speaker 2**
That itself is not the list that we're talking about.
**Speaker 2**
Then there's a normal kind of blitz where you get where two sexual organs are joined.
**Speaker 2**
We call it sex.
**Speaker 2**
The sex are like two sexual organs joined together.
**Speaker 2**
It's very funny in this manner.
**Speaker 2**
They're very critical about these things.
**Speaker 2**
And that's not the kind of blitz they're talking about either.
**Speaker 2**
So don't get that into your mind.
**Speaker 2**
So what's left?
**Speaker 2**
I mean we've got all these glisses and it's like not it, not it, not it, not it, not it.
**Speaker 2**
What is it if it's not those kinds of glisses?
**Speaker 2**
It's a specific gliss that you get when the winds enter into the central channel.
**Speaker 2**
And it's different than all the other kinds of gliss.
**Speaker 2**
So when the birds first enter the channel, then they say shoot, nay, hint.
**Speaker 2**
They shoot, shoot, nay, hint, hint.
**Speaker 2**
They enter the Central General. Sometimes they enter and then they go out right away.
**Speaker 2**
But then you want them to enter the Central General and stay there. And that's the main part.
**Speaker 2**
Duke is the enter part. Then you want the main part where they stay.
**Speaker 2**
And sometimes they enter and they stay and they just don't know what to do after that.
**Speaker 2**
And there's a third step called "Tim" which means the dog.
**Speaker 2**
So the waves have to enter the central channel, they have to stay in the central channel and then you have to resolve them once they get there.
**Speaker 2**
And after those three steps are finished, you get it. That's the blitz that you get.
**Speaker 2**
And that's why the central channel is called a baby blitz digger.
**Speaker 1**
Okay, this is the last, probably the last right path.
**Speaker 1**
Let's do a little bit of an art that we have.
**Speaker 1**
We wanted to describe to you a little bit about the lineage.
**Speaker 1**
like where did this knowledge come from?
**Speaker 1**
It's very high knowledge, it's very powerful knowledge, and it should come from an authentic clinic,
**Speaker 1**
and you should learn it from someone who has learned it from someone who's inauthentic clinic.
**Speaker 1**
So, in your own mind you can put yourself, affect yourself in a lineage.
**Speaker 1**
If somebody said, you know, what lineage is there in a fire, you can give a good answer.
**Speaker 1**
And that's important.
**Speaker 1**
I believe it goes back to a man and a woman who were spiritual partners.
**Speaker 1**
Very famous, the most famous spiritual partners of India in the Buddhist tradition.
**Speaker 1**
I met Master Naropa. I think you may have heard of Naropa College and his partner, his name was Mikuma.
**Speaker 1**
They made a great place for Naropa. He believed to have lived from 1,012 to 1,180.
**Speaker 1**
Even in India, we don't have time to tell a full story. It took what? Six months, $600 to tell a full story.
**Speaker 1**
We translated this product and we caught it for about six months I think. Over a period.
**Speaker 1**
And there's no time to tell a full story.
**Speaker 1**
But basically, as a young man, he married his partner named Yeruma, and he was married to her. He was a prince. They got married.
**Speaker 1**
Then he came to start with worldly life and she helped him become a monk and leave the world, leave the kingdom.
**Speaker 1**
And in time, studying all across the upper part of India from Kashmir in the west all the way to Bengal in the east,
**Speaker 1**
He studied with the greatest master of India.
**Speaker 1**
And in time he became the greatest monk father of history.
**Speaker 1**
And he became the abbot of a monk that I called Malenda,
**Speaker 1**
which was the most famous Buddhist and yogic institution in India of all time.
**Speaker 1**
In those days the monks were very much yogi.
**Speaker 1**
He was a very great place and he became an average, he was very famous.
**Speaker 1**
Brilliant. Like the president of Harvey, okay?
**Speaker 1**
Then one day he was out in her street studying lingerie from a test.
**Speaker 1**
And this ugly woman came to him, old woman, spoken old woman, had, smelled bad, looked bad.
**Speaker 1**
And there's a famous story, she asked him, "What are you doing?"
**Speaker 1**
And he said, "I'm studying, I'm the average, I'm the greatest scholar in the media,
**Speaker 1**
and I'm studying laundry."
**Speaker 1**
And she said, "Oh, I have to do this. Do you understand the words of that book?"
**Speaker 1**
She said, "No, I understand the words."
**Speaker 1**
And then she started to dance, this wild dance, crazy dance.
**Speaker 1**
I think she's like a black lady, a drunk black lady.
**Speaker 1**
And she's like running around dancing and she's just popped, you know, she leans over her head and she's like, "Don't do you understand it, we can't."
**Speaker 1**
And he says, "I know, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry."
**Speaker 1**
Then she starts to cry and she's jumping herself on the ground, she tears out her hair, she turns her to clothes, she's crying, she's crying.
**Speaker 1**
And then he's like, "Hey, hey, why are you doing this? Do you want? Why are you dancing?"
**Speaker 1**
"I'm dancing because you said you understood the words."
**Speaker 1**
"Why dance? You told the truth. I'm dancing."
**Speaker 1**
Then he says, "Well, why did you start to cry when I said I understood the meaning of this?"
**Speaker 1**
"Because you're a monk. You're the heaven of the lander. You're the greatest scholar in India."
**Speaker 1**
"Yeah, yeah, but you lied. You lied to me."
**Speaker 1**
"So, of course, who wouldn't get upset?"
**Speaker 1**
And then he said, "Well, you mean I don't understand the meaning of this?"
**Speaker 1**
"Oh, of course not!"
**Speaker 1**
And then he said, "Well, if I don't understand the name, who does?"
**Speaker 1**
He said, "My father is a law firm. He doesn't understand the name."
**Speaker 1**
And he says, "Well, bring me this to law firm. Bring it to me. I'll see what he says."
**Speaker 1**
And he says, "You don't ask the teachers to come to you. You go to the teachers. Jesus is here."
**Speaker 1**
So then he's like President of Harvard and he has this inspiration.
**Speaker 1**
He gets upset with the name of the Lord. He says, "Yeah, I believe him. He doesn't know something that I don't know."
**Speaker 1**
And he gets upset. And finally he decides to leave the monastery.
**Speaker 1**
So he takes this re-announcement. He takes off his muck skull, he starts to grow his hair long, he starts to wear a yogi.
**Speaker 1**
I have to go find the local. And it's a big scandal. You are 500 monks on it. You can't even want us there. You are the greatest monk. You are the greatest monk. You are the greatest example of a monk in the country.
**Speaker 1**
It doesn't matter, does it? Because I notice there's something I need to know deeper. There's something I don't understand.
**Speaker 1**
And I sense that she was trying to, you know. I have to find the Lord. He just walked out of the world. He just walked into the world, you know.
**Speaker 1**
So, Tel Avivar, he was very wily inside. He was emanating at the composure. And he put him to 12 minor tasks and 12 major tasks. Very painful. Very emotionally traumatic.
**Speaker 1**
broke down his resistance, broke down his pride, broke his defeat.
**Speaker 1**
At the last moment of this process, Jesus is sitting with a razor blade up against his neck, like,
**Speaker 1**
"It's not going to work. I can't do this. I'm not telling you. He's ready to kill himself."
**Speaker 1**
He had to lay up against his brother.
**Speaker 1**
And then, Tidopa suddenly appeared in his school board and said, "Okay, that's enough. You're ready."
**Speaker 1**
And then Tidopa started teaching how to get ready.
**Speaker 1**
So he taught them what you're learning.
**Speaker 1**
because you got it easy, you just have to take some money.
**Speaker 1**
But, uh, he talked into a lot of timing.
**Speaker 1**
And then Naropa, at some point, he realized that the woman he had married as a young man was a Shiloha also.
**Speaker 1**
And that was the Guru.
**Speaker 1**
So there's a very famous practice that Yoropa started to teach called the Six Yogas of Yoropa.
**Speaker 1**
The very first of the yogas of the world is called the inner fire.
**Speaker 1**
Tumho.
**Speaker 1**
And inside of Tumho, inside of the inner fire, is two important practices.
**Speaker 1**
One is yoga, often that you are a yore and a yore.
**Speaker 1**
I think those are big parts of the practice, the yoga of inner practice.
**Speaker 1**
And then secondly, the practice of working with a partner.
**Speaker 1**
One of the mudras that you learned from what you mentioned tonight is we get that far.
**Speaker 1**
But one of the ten mudras is working with a partner.
**Speaker 1**
So these are the two foundations of inner practice.
**Speaker 1**
Yoga, asanas that everybody does, and working with a spiritual partner.
**Speaker 1**
These are the foundations of the practice of being in power, which is the first of the yoga in the whole world.
**Speaker 1**
The six yogas in the world.
**Speaker 1**
So, the world that they taught the six yogas to a Tibetan, crazy spirit-scoggling Tibetan.
**Speaker 1**
It wasn't a monk, but he came to India to learn yoga.
**Speaker 1**
And he found the world. And the world was granted him.
**Speaker 1**
These instructions on the other day, the practice of Buddha.
**Speaker 1**
And his name was Markha, Markha the 10th player.
**Speaker 1**
And then Markha went back to that, beat up his own disciples,
**Speaker 1**
Maybe build a dinosaur down, tear it down again, build it again, something is very real.
**Speaker 1**
But, uh, different stuff maybe.
**Speaker 1**
But, uh, I think it's possible to be a famous, most famous alien.
**Speaker 1**
So, Kambalarepa, the sixth yoga of Naropa, comes down into our lineage.
**Speaker 1**
Our lineage is Galupa, the lineage of the Dalai woman.
**Speaker 1**
And it enters our lineage with a Rama-Sokapa, named Prokapa.
**Speaker 1**
And he was the teacher of the first Dalai woman.
**Speaker 1**
And he wrote a very beautiful, beautiful book by Nova Altenevis, Inner Fire, Partly Practition,
**Speaker 1**
which is called the Book of Three Beliefs, "Reeja Finke".
**Speaker 1**
By the way, the three beliefs aren't taught in the Book of Three Beliefs.
**Speaker 1**
They are very hard to try in. I think there's three from three.
**Speaker 1**
The first one is to believe in your teacher.
**Speaker 1**
Second, you believe in what they teach.
**Speaker 1**
And then third, you believe in yourself, that you can reach the highest quality.
**Speaker 1**
So he wrote this beautiful book which is the foundation of all our three nations, the practice of the open-ended asana and the proper practice of Buddha.
**Speaker 1**
And so that actually came down to his students, the first Daya Nama, and was passed down to the Daya Nama to the teacher of the current Daya Nama, who was our teacher's teacher.
**Speaker 1**
And he taught it to us. Now this is how it's coming down.
**Speaker 1**
And we learned it from two other great mamas in San Jose.
**Speaker 1**
One is Humanities University and one is Krishnaji University.
**Speaker 1**
With the proper initiation and empowerment.
**Speaker 1**
So now we're talking about this. So now you know where you are.
**Speaker 1**
Nibuwa, Lady Nibuwa had her own experience. And she started hanging out on an island in the Ganges River, Ganga, more Ganga.
**Speaker 1**
and it was a burial ground, Shmashima.
**Speaker 1**
And she would hang out there with her dakinis.
**Speaker 1**
She had a wide group of Michelebi followers, Indians.
**Speaker 1**
And then a Tibetan monk, he heard of this famous woman yogi and he determined to go find her.
**Speaker 1**
And he adopted a nearby near the London.
**Speaker 1**
The London was becoming a half-monaster, half-yogi. Very high. Very beautiful at that time. Very, very beautiful.
**Speaker 1**
I thought, it's really how we have these things.
**Speaker 1**
And he said, "How can I find the Anandaguma?"
**Speaker 1**
People say, "Well, she's saying that the Anandaguma, but you don't have to bother growing."
**Speaker 1**
He said, "Why?" I said, "You won't see that."
**Speaker 1**
And he said, "Sure, I'll stay, I'll wait."
**Speaker 1**
He said, "Don't know that's not the point.
**Speaker 1**
Only people who are bodhita can even see that.
**Speaker 1**
So you can go or you can wait but you might never see it.
**Speaker 1**
And keep on going anyway.
**Speaker 1**
That's the kind of courage you have to have, okay?
**Speaker 1**
In Hatha Yoga, you have to keep going.
**Speaker 1**
People try to talk you out of it.
**Speaker 1**
People say don't do that, that's crazy.
**Speaker 1**
You just say, I'm going to do what jubo,
**Speaker 1**
His name is Chumbo. Chumbo. Chumbo. Chumbo. Chumbo. Now I'm sorry.
**Speaker 1**
Now doesn't mean yogi. Chumbo yogi. He wouldn't necessarily be anybody. That's what's good in a yogi.
**Speaker 1**
Except your teacher, right? He wouldn't necessarily be anybody.
**Speaker 1**
Don't do that. You're wasting your time. He said, "I don't care. I'm going to try."
**Speaker 1**
So he went. In those days, he had to give up a bath of gulsa for teaching on Hashanoda.
**Speaker 1**
So he gave the cold bath, he had the cold bath tea, right?
**Speaker 1**
He sat under a tree and then suddenly he sees this woman.
**Speaker 1**
They say seven palm tree heights up in the air.
**Speaker 1**
So I don't know, if you see, you know, more.
**Speaker 1**
How do you think you see the air?
**Speaker 1**
So she's up there in the air, you know?
**Speaker 1**
And he's like, "Are you a gruma?"
**Speaker 1**
She says, "No, I'm a gruma."
**Speaker 1**
And he's like, "I don't believe you."
**Speaker 1**
I think you're a gruma, you know?
**Speaker 1**
She says, "I really am, really am not. What do you want?"
**Speaker 1**
She says, "I want to learn yoga. Yoga asanas, I want to learn yoga."
**Speaker 1**
"Take yoga because of Numa."
**Speaker 1**
"You can't do it."
**Speaker 1**
"It's a whole thing to say yoga."
**Speaker 1**
She says, "Well, if you want to learn yoga, you have to take goals."
**Speaker 1**
This is a customary of things.
**Speaker 1**
"I have my goals already. I have my goals already."
**Speaker 1**
She takes the gold stuff and she scrolls it in the head and just flies off her wings.
**Speaker 1**
"Okay, maybe I'll teach you." And then suddenly she's surrounded by all these wily nobis, dakinis, beautiful wily nobis in the sky.
**Speaker 1**
And they're all looking down ahead of her. That's a long story. Sorry, 20 minutes.
**Speaker 1**
She carried him off to a mountain. She falls asleep. She teaches him the six young girls in his dreams.
**Speaker 1**
That's kind of stuff. And then when he woke up, she taught him to take the others that he comes to.
**Speaker 1**
awake. I think the dream one was probably better.
**Speaker 1**
But that came, then he returned to Shabbat, and that was the Kabir, in a tradition called the Shambha Kabir.
**Speaker 1**
And those teachings unite with our lineage in the second valley of the world.
**Speaker 1**
His name was the Kennedy Castle.
**Speaker 2**
Is it getting good?
**Speaker 1**
Anyway, it's a castle.
**Speaker 1**
They're all jacked up.
**Speaker 1**
That's what we're talking about.
**Speaker 1**
Anyway, I'll tell you from all of this.
**Speaker 1**
And from there, it comes from Chandra.
**Speaker 1**
Okay? So, this is where you are learning.
**Speaker 1**
How did you learn how to learn?
**Speaker 1**
I learned in the Illini and the Lofa.
**Speaker 1**
See, Lohba is a descendant of the "Param-Kara" of the "Tampey-Y
**Speaker 1**
and in good words.
**Speaker 1**
Okay? Because you are.
**Speaker 1**
And it's an honor
**Speaker 1**
to be in this Holy Spirit.
**Speaker 2**
So, we might just go
**Speaker 2**
today's class.
**Speaker 2**
Thank you.
**Speaker 2**
and freedom for you
**Speaker 2**
who died in the system is opening the door to the heroine.
**Speaker 2**
So right now,
**Speaker 2**
that is first to talk about where to move back.
**Speaker 2**
So, the root comes from a root "me" which means to fix and fortify something.
**Speaker 2**
And then the Jara is like an E-R. It's the fixer or the port-fire, right?
**Speaker 2**
It's the something that acts to do something.
**Speaker 2**
So in Tibetan, Chak means a hand.
**Speaker 2**
And "gya" means a seal or a stamp. Sometimes it can mean a sign, a gesture.
**Speaker 2**
But traditionally "munjara" or "saka" means a seal.
**Speaker 2**
You know, in the ancient days when you wanted to send a letter and you wanted to make sure it wasn't tampered with,
**Speaker 2**
because they didn't have emails those days. They just had couriers.
**Speaker 2**
I don't know, I'm picturing nature's ways all the time, right?
**Speaker 2**
You get your wax and you each have your own steel so that they know that it's you,
**Speaker 2**
you know, it's not somebody else that you make a love letter.
**Speaker 2**
You know, it's very important to have your steel.
**Speaker 2**
In the days of Genghis Khan, for instance, the seal was very important.
**Speaker 2**
Because, I don't know if you know how many countries Genghis Khan conquered before they fell.
**Speaker 2**
Like, he died and then they sort of petered out.
**Speaker 2**
But he was like this spirit warrior king and he wanted to conquer the entire world.
**Speaker 2**
So he would send a message from the center of Mongolia and it would reach all the way, I mean, months and months by horse travel, all the way to the end of Russia.
**Speaker 2**
And they would be waiting for a negative message, like do we go further or do we stop here?
**Speaker 2**
And it was only the seal of the king that let them know that this is an absolute message sent by negative Kahn himself, that they should follow these orders.
**Speaker 2**
So the seal becomes this incredibly important thing.
**Speaker 2**
And they said that the king was never without the seal.
**Speaker 2**
Because that was his way of telling people, this is my word.
**Speaker 2**
These are my words. This is my seal. I sanctioned it.
**Speaker 2**
So the seal is very important in the ancient days.
**Speaker 2**
In practice, this word sometimes is used to mean a hand gesture, like this is a mudra here.
**Speaker 2**
Everybody knows this mudra. You can use it for meditation.
**Speaker 2**
You either keep your palm up or your palm down, but it's a hand gesture, it's a mudra.
**Speaker 2**
Why do they call this a pudra? What is the meaning of pudra?
**Speaker 2**
It's a particular position of the body that you put your body in a certain position in order to form a closed circuit of thrana.
**Speaker 2**
In this, in this is the closed circuit, it's a very small part of the body, you know, it's this closed circuit of front here.
**Speaker 2**
In the 10 glutes that we'll be dealing with in this chapter, we're talking about the entire body.
**Speaker 2**
We use the entire body and we create a closed circuit of front.
**Speaker 2**
Well how does that differ from an asana?
**Speaker 2**
David said it's not.
**Speaker 2**
It's not different than an asana.
**Speaker 2**
Not as far as we've covered so far.
**Speaker 2**
It's like you put your body into a certain position to create a circuit of prana.
**Speaker 2**
So why do they differentiate them from asana?
**Speaker 2**
Well, here in this chapter 3, we're incorporating not just the body but also the breath.
**Speaker 2**
You are using a certain kind of plonoyama where you hold the breath in for the easy to address.
**Speaker 2**
You know, so you put, first you put yourself in a certain body position where the prana
**Speaker 2**
is flowing in a certain kind of surface.
**Speaker 2**
And then you use the breath on top of that.
**Speaker 2**
You know, you attain the breath on top of that.
**Speaker 2**
How is that different from kubakhan that we had in the last chapter?
**Speaker 2**
We're not using the body in the kubakhan.
**Speaker 2**
We're just using the recension of the breath.
**Speaker 2**
You see, so now we're using both.
**Speaker 2**
Now we're using both the circuit of prana and the retention of the breath.
**Speaker 2**
And then there was one more thing that we said that was very important in the third chapter that we said last night.
**Speaker 2**
Which must be there in order for it to be called a buddha.
**Speaker 2**
Yes, you have a mental component as well.
**Speaker 2**
So you can't simply put yourself into a certain position, hold your breath and think about lunch.
**Speaker 2**
Then it's not a mudra.
**Speaker 2**
Then it's not a mudra.
**Speaker 2**
You actually have to be feeling the prana inside of each pose.
**Speaker 2**
Like, this is not...
**Speaker 2**
We've talked about this before.
**Speaker 2**
Like, I remember a couple copy of the different chapters ago.
**Speaker 2**
Like, maybe chapter one.
**Speaker 2**
Like, that's not a mudra until you feel the connection of prana flowing through it.
**Speaker 2**
Otherwise, I'm just making the shake go get to my breakfast cereal.
**Speaker 2**
You know?
**Speaker 2**
Like, I'm just saying, okay.
**Speaker 2**
or something like that, but then once you've got the internal component of the prana flowing and the circuit,
**Speaker 2**
if you can feel that, it's a mudra.
**Speaker 2**
Yeah.
**Speaker 1**
Do the fingers have to talk?
**Speaker 2**
No, no, you can feel the prana, the method closed circuit.
**Speaker 2**
That's a good question.
**Speaker 2**
So, one of the definitions for prana is a simple hand gesture.
**Speaker 2**
One of the definitions for prana is a whole body gesture.
**Speaker 2**
I mean mudra, sorry.
**Speaker 2**
So one is hand gesture, one is whole body gesture.
**Speaker 2**
One, uh, in one you use two bodies to make a field.
**Speaker 2**
Right? Two bodies coming together to make one whole field.
**Speaker 2**
And that connection between the two bodies becomes the field.
**Speaker 2**
That circuit of prana, you use both bodies to create a circuit of prana.
**Speaker 2**
and that becomes the mudra itself
**Speaker 2**
right
**Speaker 2**
so um
**Speaker 2**
and that's called
**Speaker 2**
in subject there are two ways to do this practice
**Speaker 2**
one is called um
**Speaker 2**
uh
**Speaker 2**
jnana mudra
**Speaker 2**
mudra
**Speaker 2**
and what is called karma mudra
**Speaker 2**
okay
**Speaker 2**
karma
**Speaker 2**
mudra
**Speaker 2**
Mudra means mudra.
**Speaker 2**
So there's your luthur mudra and then there's your...
**Speaker 2**
Karma in this case is not the karma of like mental seeds and projections and stuff.
**Speaker 2**
It actually is the word of, it's also the word for work.
**Speaker 2**
And it seems to mean your actual mudra.
**Speaker 2**
So you can translate that as actual mudra. So it's your wisdom mudra and your actual mudra.
**Speaker 2**
So in this particular practice you can use your wisdom mudra which is an imagined mudra to create the full circle between two different bodies.
**Speaker 2**
So you visualize yourself connected to another person's chronic circuit.
**Speaker 2**
And there are very specific meditations for this in the ancient texts about how you would use this in order,
**Speaker 2**
It's all in order to get the wings into the center channel, in order to get this direction.
**Speaker 2**
That's the only goal that we're talking about here.
**Speaker 2**
So there are meditations where you would use this kind of visualization to kind of say,
**Speaker 2**
and further your practice in a very rapid way.
**Speaker 2**
If you have very good and specific training on cellular visualization,
**Speaker 2**
it could increase your challenge of getting them into the central channel by like a thousand or a billion.
**Speaker 2**
I mean it's a very powerful practice.
**Speaker 2**
But it's not a practice that you would teach openly because it's something that...
**Speaker 2**
Like, often times, if you do something wrong, maybe you're going to hurt next for a week, but that's about it.
**Speaker 2**
You know, and then you're back to normal, and the next week is okay.
**Speaker 2**
So it's like, it's okay if you don't have a future for your awesome practice for a while,
**Speaker 2**
because nothing really terrible is good enough to you, because it's not a, um,
**Speaker 2**
it's a slow method of getting a win into the center center.
**Speaker 2**
And it's a gradual method, and it won't hurt you.
**Speaker 2**
and if you don't know what you're doing with your wind.
**Speaker 2**
But some of these other practices,
**Speaker 2**
if you don't know what you're doing with your wind,
**Speaker 2**
they are very rapid methods,
**Speaker 2**
they're very powerful methods
**Speaker 2**
of getting a wind in the central channel.
**Speaker 2**
And what happens is if people don't have
**Speaker 2**
accurate information or they don't,
**Speaker 2**
they don't have a teacher,
**Speaker 2**
you can really damage your inner body
**Speaker 2**
by practicing wind without a teacher.
**Speaker 2**
So that's another encouragement
**Speaker 2**
You're going to find your teacher right away, right?
**Speaker 2**
So then, your actual mudra, you would be practicing the same practices as you did with your wisdom mudra,
**Speaker 2**
but you would be practicing with like an outer partner, you know, your own partner.
**Speaker 2**
And in that case, ideally you and your partner would both be trained in these practices.
**Speaker 2**
and so when they say the king is never separated from his field
**Speaker 2**
it's a code word in Tibet
**Speaker 2**
in the Tibetan twilight language
**Speaker 2**
we talked about that last night
**Speaker 2**
it's a code word in the twilight language
**Speaker 2**
for a yogi is never separated from their mizra
**Speaker 2**
The yogis never separate from their partner, their consort.
**Speaker 2**
And that's a sign of how seriously they could be practicing.
**Speaker 2**
Like this was a life or death practice for them.
**Speaker 2**
This is like enlightenment or bust.
**Speaker 2**
I'm going to get the wind into my central channel, I'm going to stand in the stars, get into the clear light, I'm going to come out in my angels body, or I'm going to die trying.
**Speaker 2**
So there's another definition for Buddha. This is the last one we have and it's a mental definition.
**Speaker 2**
It's that we act to place a seal on our practice.
**Speaker 2**
from the very very beginning stages when you're first deciding I'm not going to kill anyone.
**Speaker 2**
Which is like the root of the practice. I'm not going to steal anything, I'm not going to hurt anybody else,
**Speaker 2**
I'm not going to mess around with anyone else's partner, I'm not going to lie about any spiritual goals,
**Speaker 2**
I'm not a jeez, I'm not going to, you know, it's like those basic, basic rules.
**Speaker 2**
So it's the thing that has foundation from the very basic rules all the way up to the highest level of Zenit practice.
**Speaker 2**
And what is the thing that acts as a skill upon every single teaching?
**Speaker 2**
It's sentiment, right.
**Speaker 2**
So, mudra also has the meaning of sentiment.
**Speaker 2**
and when we say Mahavadra, in that context it means a spontaneous, you get raised into
**Speaker 2**
to the central channel and you go into the direct perception
**Speaker 2**
of entity and it's a combination of bliss and enjoyment.
**Speaker 2**
And that's the goal of our practice.
**Speaker 2**
So, mudra can be the way to the practice
**Speaker 2**
and it can also be the goal of the practice.
**Speaker 2**
Why would you want a closed circuit of karma if you were, like this day, you're working
**Speaker 2**
with your own body and asking us to do something?
**Speaker 2**
All you guys are doing is doing something.
**Speaker 2**
What does that do to the level of thought in your body?
**Speaker 2**
Yeah, I appreciate it.
**Speaker 2**
And then what do you do?
**Speaker 2**
A skilled yogi could use the mental capacity in the mudra to direct the prana then into a certain place inside the yoga.
**Speaker 2**
So you use it first to increase the prana and then to direct the prana.
**Speaker 2**
and it pierces
**Speaker 2**
like we talked about in the last book
**Speaker 2**
it pierces all the chakras
**Speaker 2**
in order for the thought to pierce all the chakras
**Speaker 2**
it has to be a little bit high
**Speaker 2**
level trauma
**Speaker 2**
like you're not going to want something to pierce the chakras
**Speaker 2**
like this
**Speaker 2**
you have to get
**Speaker 2**
some kind of energy
**Speaker 2**
going down first
**Speaker 2**
and then you can set it up and pierce the chakras
**Speaker 2**
and something will happen
**Speaker 1**
I would suggest the second half of this verse.
**Speaker 1**
And he said that in order to awaken the emphasis of power, she winds sleeping at the opening to the George of Chirmois.
**Speaker 1**
What did he say, "Pure-Wine" was yesterday?
**Speaker 1**
I don't know.
**Speaker 1**
Yeah, George of Chirmois was very good at that.
**Speaker 1**
I'm not right now.
**Speaker 1**
But, as they said in the very time of the central channel, sometimes that means the word is the whole end of the central channel.
**Speaker 1**
So, it's really only a name for the top of the central channel.
**Speaker 1**
But in youth loosening, you can call the whole central channel the Doha of God.
**Speaker 1**
It is that its embers of power, its need, is staying at the opening of the
**Speaker 1**
of the
**Speaker 1**
of the
**Speaker 1**
of the
**Speaker 1**
meaning the lower
**Speaker 1**
of the
**Speaker 1**
and
**Speaker 1**
and
**Speaker 1**
this keeps in the plumbing, okay?
**Speaker 1**
We were talking about two side channels.
**Speaker 1**
When we say side channels, you have to think side in the form of the word.
**Speaker 1**
Okay?
**Speaker 1**
The side channels are the side channels.
**Speaker 1**
The side channels are the side channels.
**Speaker 1**
I'm waiting to sit, start here, under the skull, all of the central channel down, polluting to it all the way down, and then twisting around it, causing trouble.
**Speaker 1**
Choking off the central channel, choking off the knife.
**Speaker 1**
The reason you die, the reason people die, is those knots.
**Speaker 1**
If someone could open the knots, they wouldn't have to die.
**Speaker 1**
The body would change.
**Speaker 1**
So it's very important to understand the plumbing of the side channel.
**Speaker 1**
They come down, you can say three or four floors.
**Speaker 1**
So is the width of your first finger, the first muscle.
**Speaker 1**
That's a floor, that's a measurement, okay?
**Speaker 1**
And you can count three or four floors down from your navel.
**Speaker 1**
And at that place is a plumbing, what do you call it?
**Speaker 1**
Junker. Connection. Okay?
**Speaker 1**
The two side channels at that point come down.
**Speaker 1**
If you know Tibetan, there's a letter cha.
**Speaker 1**
You know the letter cha?
**Speaker 1**
It looks like an A on its side.
**Speaker 1**
And when they describe this connection, they say,
**Speaker 1**
"This is the way the bottom part of the cha was like this."
**Speaker 1**
So the two channels come down and then they turn in and there's a jump turn with the central channel.
**Speaker 1**
So all those three channels, sometimes it's called the two communities, flowing together between rivers.
**Speaker 1**
And we'll talk more about that later.
**Speaker 1**
I think one really important thing is to, as important to get the rock and rock and rock right,
**Speaker 1**
it's important to get the connection point right.
**Speaker 1**
People teach it as, you know, four floors below your table.
**Speaker 1**
But you must think of it as the fact, in the fact, okay?
**Speaker 1**
It's not drawn on your skin, four floors below your belly box, you know?
**Speaker 1**
A lot of people who study yoga, or who get this far, they make a boo-boo.
**Speaker 1**
And for their whole life they imagine that the central channel is connecting with the two side channels
**Speaker 1**
right there on the skin next to my belly button. It's not like that.
**Speaker 1**
They're just trying to get the, what do you call it, the latitude correct.
**Speaker 1**
Okay, so this is the latitude, but they didn't see the max. Okay, so it's a long...
**Speaker 1**
The dead test, say about half an inch in the back form, had that latitude.
**Speaker 1**
Some Indian text would stay closer or even in the back form.
**Speaker 1**
So then in that juncture, you can think of three rivers coming together.
**Speaker 1**
I always imagine under the sink, you know, the hot water, the cold water, and then the main water, sorry,
**Speaker 1**
hooking up there. It's the hookup point, right?
**Speaker 1**
And for a yogi who is studying mudra, for a yogi who is trying to awaken the inner fire, this is going to be where you live. This is your dress.
**Speaker 1**
Now people say, "Where do you live?" They say, "I live in Richmond, Maine."
**Speaker 1**
Where is that? For a solar.
**Speaker 1**
I'm just saying when people have to have dressed like
**Speaker 1**
in foreign countries like a customs guy
**Speaker 1**
and a bunch of dress and we're all
**Speaker 1**
and then he already thinks you're lying
**Speaker 1**
he already thinks you're a parent
**Speaker 1**
you know
**Speaker 1**
I mean, I don't think
**Speaker 1**
you know
**Speaker 1**
but
**Speaker 1**
I didn't say too many
**Speaker 1**
I thought I'm good
**Speaker 1**
I did
**Speaker 1**
and it's a very, very good place
**Speaker 1**
for a young man to practice
**Speaker 1**
The Heart Chakra is a very dangerous thing.
**Speaker 1**
Heart Chakra is like Kathleen and matches, they're all known to Heart Chakra.
**Speaker 1**
If you get practicing Heart Chakra, you can have deep emotions, you can become muddy, nervous, or flaky like that.
**Speaker 1**
If you work down at a...
**Speaker 1**
This is the flash point, this is the starting point of your time.
**Speaker 1**
Very stable, very steady, very healthy, especially if you're in the back, where you're supposed to be.
**Speaker 1**
And then think about there sometimes, and stay there sometimes, and take your mind there.
**Speaker 1**
We're going to talk more about affecting the chapters by putting your mind there.
**Speaker 1**
But for now, stay there as you do your asanas.
**Speaker 1**
If you need to point to think of, think of that.
**Speaker 1**
Think of the blue sky.
**Speaker 1**
Do the blue sky in a nation.
**Speaker 1**
You can do it in a bus, you can do it in a subway, you can do it in a travel bus,
**Speaker 1**
if you don't have to do a space company.
**Speaker 1**
Just blue sky.
**Speaker 1**
And then, central channel.
**Speaker 1**
Straight, straight color flag.
**Speaker 1**
Tell me straight.
**Speaker 1**
Tell me answer, back to find a friend.
**Speaker 1**
**Speaker 1**
one of the most important things for the practice of the past,
**Speaker 1**
he said, straight back.
**Speaker 1**
He could have said afternoon, he could have said year, everything.
**Speaker 1**
He said, straight back.
**Speaker 1**
So I mean, for a yogi,
**Speaker 1**
and of course you're flying curves in a natural way,
**Speaker 1**
and you don't have to try to do that.
**Speaker 1**
But it feels straight, right?
**Speaker 1**
It will feel straight.
**Speaker 1**
And for a yogi,
**Speaker 1**
if you finish out a practice, get inspired,
**Speaker 1**
The point of inner fire is that it opens the central tunnel.
**Speaker 1**
And when it opens, when the empress wakes up at the door, you just feel like this.
**Speaker 1**
You feel this military erectness to your body.
**Speaker 1**
And so, as a styling yogi, it's good. At one point in time you sit on the first half inch of your chair for four years.
**Speaker 1**
You know, like Ben said, like Ben said, and that's a good custom.
**Speaker 1**
It helps to flow the product very much. And when you get it, when it happens to you, you'll be sitting like this all the time.
**Speaker 1**
You know, it's like a ballet paladino.
**Speaker 1**
Right?
**Speaker 1**
So there's this thing, it's a ballet, you know.
**Speaker 1**
Even your head has to be like...
**Speaker 1**
You know, and it's very important.
**Speaker 1**
When she wakes up, it will be automatic.
**Speaker 1**
Until it happens in magic.
**Speaker 1**
Connect the fire to the bottom part and the top part.
**Speaker 1**
Straight, right?
**Speaker 1**
And that will help wake up the crew.
**Speaker 1**
So, if you do it a lot, make it more important than the name is Asana's once in a while.
**Speaker 1**
Just do that all day, you see? Do it all day, wherever you are, whatever you think.
**Speaker 1**
Keep her strength, she'll be able to wake up.
**Speaker 1**
If you all flash the initial camera, she can't get up out of the two or seven of them.
**Speaker 1**
A lot of people flash it there at their shoulder.
**Speaker 1**
It helps a lot to teach in the fire while you're sitting there in Stavag.
**Speaker 1**
You start your computer, you get a set of fire, and then you go like this.
**Speaker 1**
So if there's a way to get your computer like that, keep the cord going all the time.
**Speaker 1**
it will help her wake up. Oh, the second word here is "prabota"
**Speaker 1**
It's a common name in India, I have good standing your translation of it.
**Speaker 1**
"Prabota" happens very much. "Prabota" comes from "good" which means to wake up.
**Speaker 1**
"Guta" means the one who is awake.
**Speaker 1**
So we are seeking to Pabod, we are seeking the Pabod of the Sancho Chama, or Kundalini, which is the wake up.
**Speaker 1**
So that is called Rapa Sefa. Sefa means to open a seed, right?
**Speaker 1**
Pabta Sefa means to open a kind of seed.
**Speaker 1**
So Rapa Sefa means we are seeking to shake up and wake up.
**Speaker 1**
And we are going to try all kinds of different ways to wake up.
**Speaker 1**
Sometimes you're just shaking on your peridium. Right?
**Speaker 1**
You've got to stand up and then just drop, just be quite easy on their peridium.
**Speaker 1**
That's right.
**Speaker 1**
But we're just trying different methods to slow break and to just different things.
**Speaker 1**
In the teaching class you have many of the methods are mental.
**Speaker 1**
So you're combining an inner and an outer approach.
**Speaker 1**
You're doing the physical hosanna, but you're also working on specific mental.
**Speaker 1**
And we're going to see that especially in the first two of them. We're seeing Muhammad now.
**Speaker 1**
Alright.
**Speaker 2**
The word "roptych" is so interesting to me, to get in the work, because it has so much to do with everyone's views.
**Speaker 2**
you know, my own experience and all of your experience, I mean, there was a certain time in your life, you know, you were a child, and maybe you were like normal children, or maybe you were a little bit different than normal children, but at a certain point in your life, something awoke inside of you, and it was like this seed from your past life, you know, awoke
inside of you, and all of a sudden,
**Speaker 2**
you knew that you couldn't have a normal life anymore.
**Speaker 2**
You know, it's like you weren't going to go have the normal job with the normal family.
**Speaker 2**
And like there was some kind of spiritual thing that happened in your heart.
**Speaker 2**
It's like, oh my God, I have to do something different.
**Speaker 2**
Something that I didn't learn about in school.
**Speaker 2**
Something that nobody is mentioning.
**Speaker 2**
And it happened to everyone here in the same way, wrestling in the same way, because we all had these really strong practices in the past.
**Speaker 2**
We all had this really strong, you know, we were doing these Lidra over and over, and somebody came somewhere, or you know, wherever.
**Speaker 2**
Yolanda. We were all Yolanda's together, I'm sure, at some point.
**Speaker 2**
Especially tough people like them.
**Speaker 2**
Anyway, it's nice to think about.
**Speaker 2**
So when you think about that word from Buddha or Rav Tidzeva, think about that, you know, how it relates to you.
**Speaker 2**
Do you place back that time in your life when all of a sudden you realize, I'm searching for something, a different path.
**Speaker 2**
I'm searching to awaken something different inside me.
**Speaker 2**
There's something that's in there that's dying to get out.
**Speaker 2**
And then when you go through these practices, when we start talking about these practices, listen.
**Speaker 2**
Like, "Listen inside!" or, um, strange things happen when you get reintroduced to practices that you used to do in your past life.
**Speaker 2**
For the first time it is this way. And then all of a sudden, another seat opens inside you.
**Speaker 2**
It's like, oh yeah, I remember that.
**Speaker 2**
Oh yeah, I remember that.
**Speaker 2**
I remember doing that.
**Speaker 2**
So pay attention to these because we've done that before.
**Speaker 2**
And listen for that.
**Speaker 2**
Listen for that.
**Speaker 2**
Oh, I remember that.
**Speaker 2**
So we're going to talk about something that's actually in the Book of Three Belief,
**Speaker 2**
St. Michael's talking about before by Dessert Kapha.
**Speaker 2**
It's the Book of Three Belief, it's a book on the six yogas of Naropa.
**Speaker 2**
But in there, St. Kapha talks about the awakening of the inner fire.
**Speaker 2**
And he gives some really good tips.
**Speaker 2**
to a baby practitioner who are just starting to awaken their inner fire.
**Speaker 2**
So, you know, you're sitting there, you're inside the central center at the level of, you know,
**Speaker 2**
floor storage below your navel.
**Speaker 2**
Or it's like, I like to think of it as like an inch and a half above the end of my table.
**Speaker 2**
You know, because then I'm already in the back.
**Speaker 2**
Then there's no error with having to push it too far in the front.
**Speaker 2**
I'm already back where I'm supposed to be.
**Speaker 2**
So you go down to the bottom of your elbow and then you go an inch and a half up and you're right where you're supposed to be.
**Speaker 2**
And then you focus your mind there.
**Speaker 2**
And the central channel comes down, the two side channels come down and insert themselves in that very space.
**Speaker 2**
and you're putting your mind right in the middle between the three of them, at the intersection between the three of them.
**Speaker 2**
Your mind is just sitting there in the trigonines, right?
**Speaker 2**
At the junction, the crossing, comes the channel, there's a state there.
**Speaker 2**
and you start to have a certain kind of energy, making certain habits of you.
**Speaker 2**
There are certain signs that can tell you whether you're doing it correctly.
**Speaker 2**
If it starts to burn at a very, very specific point inside the juncture of the three channels,
**Speaker 2**
like that tiny little point starts to heat up, that's a very good sign.
**Speaker 2**
If, on the other hand, you start to feel a more general warmth all along the lower areas here, like within a handstand warmth, your mind is not focusing on that.
**Speaker 2**
you're not inside the central channel.
**Speaker 2**
You're getting the heat but it's not the right kind of heat.
**Speaker 2**
It's like freaking out.
**Speaker 2**
You want the heat to be a very specific point
**Speaker 2**
inside the juncture of the central channel.
**Speaker 2**
Especially when it's working hard.
**Speaker 2**
So, in general, if the heat then starts to rise and stays within the central channel, that's a great thing, that's a good sign.
**Speaker 2**
If as the heat starts to rise in your body, it starts to go all over the place, like you just start to feel a heat in your whole body, that's not such a good sign.
**Speaker 2**
It's not asterisk. I mean, yeah, you do something. It's not exciting.
**Speaker 2**
I mean, it's working a little, but you need to get your focus points down more strongly inside the central channel.
**Speaker 2**
The ideal place to feel key is either at this place, you know, at the inch and a half above the scale bar, or at the niggle itself.
**Speaker 2**
Both of those are good spaces for the inner key cabinet. But of course we're talking on the back.
**Speaker 2**
Then, Joseph and Heather talked about how does the warmth burn inside of you?
**Speaker 2**
Does it burn from the very core, from the very depth inside of you, inside of your body?
**Speaker 2**
Or is it a more surface level warmth?
**Speaker 2**
Like, do you feel it on your skin?
**Speaker 2**
Like just underneath your skin?
**Speaker 2**
That would be a surface level one.
**Speaker 2**
Or do you feel it like, you know, so deep that you can hardly pinpoint where it started?
**Speaker 2**
That's more desirable.
**Speaker 2**
Then how does the heat rise? How quickly does the heat rise? Does the heat slowly rise up through the central channel starting from the base of the spine and going upward?
**Speaker 2**
or is it like a quick sharp burst of heat?
**Speaker 2**
It looks even better.
**Speaker 2**
Yes.
**Speaker 2**
It's better if it's slow, right?
**Speaker 2**
One of the reasons it's so important
**Speaker 2**
that things happen slowly
**Speaker 2**
that your mind needs to be able to check out.
**Speaker 2**
In ideally, in a meditative state,
**Speaker 2**
everything will slow down a bit.
**Speaker 2**
Even your heartbeat slows down,
**Speaker 2**
and your breath slows down,
**Speaker 2**
and every, you know, all your strength will slow down.
**Speaker 2**
So if you can just slowly bring up the inner heat
**Speaker 2**
from the bottom of your belly all the way up to the top of your head.
**Speaker 2**
Maybe it takes a whole meditation session to get that heat to rise.
**Speaker 2**
And then he says whether the warmth is a deep experience or a more shallow one.
**Speaker 2**
I think we already covered that, right?
**Speaker 2**
I don't know what's different about that.
**Speaker 2**
But, you know, that's what's a complicated one.
**Speaker 2**
So, what he's talking about is the difference between normal inner fire and extraordinary inner fire.
**Speaker 2**
In normal inner fire, if you start to play around, like for instance without a lot of training or without a teacher,
**Speaker 2**
I'm just going to hammer this into this, without a teacher, then you run into this danger of creating an imbalance of elements within your body,
**Speaker 2**
which could bring about a lot of different kinds of sickness.
**Speaker 2**
For instance, you are playing with the balance of the three doshas of, you know, kapha, pitta, and masha, right?
**Speaker 2**
How could I forget? Masha.
**Speaker 2**
My goddess.
**Speaker 2**
So we're playing with the balance of the three doshas, and then all of a sudden, pitta rises.
**Speaker 2**
Like, what happens?
**Speaker 2**
You get all sorts of weird diseases related to pizza, you know?
**Speaker 2**
Like, and you start to get angry more.
**Speaker 2**
You know, all the mental imbalances related to pizza rising
**Speaker 2**
and all the physical imbalances related to pizza rising
**Speaker 2**
will be a problem for you if you're doing normal energy
**Speaker 2**
and not the extraordinary energy that is focused inside the pizza.
**Speaker 2**
And one of the signs that you are not doing it correctly is that there's no difference at all.
**Speaker 2**
Right? If someone, you know, people have come up to me and said, "I'm just getting these hot glasses."
**Speaker 2**
And I'm like, "Well, are they fun?"
**Speaker 2**
Because that's a clue, you know, it's like, well, if you're not so fun, then you need to go back and focus your mind a little bit better inside the central realm.
**Speaker 2**
Because otherwise, you're going to hurt yourself.
**Speaker 2**
You're going to just have an imbalance of the element.
**Speaker 2**
And it's not, if you don't have some kind of pleasure involved in inner peace, then you're not the right person.
**Speaker 2**
If you're in the right place, you know, at the tree mini, at the base of your spine, a little bit, you know, inch and a half from the base of your spine,
**Speaker 2**
and when he is coming properly and you're getting a sensation of bliss,
**Speaker 2**
you will have an increased sense of prana.
**Speaker 2**
You will have an increased kind of energy throughout the day from these practices.
**Speaker 2**
You will have an increase in your sexual desire.
**Speaker 2**
And that's part of this increase in prana.
**Speaker 2**
you know, and it's useful for, I mean, everything starts to rise.
**Speaker 2**
If you do it correctly, then everything starts to get greater.
**Speaker 2**
And at that point, you have to be careful not to waste that energy.
**Speaker 2**
Like, you could get incredible cravings for food, for instance, you know,
**Speaker 2**
like you're being described as an alphanian, a rabbit, you know.
**Speaker 2**
Well, don't waste it on just like, you know, gorging yourself on trinkies or something.
**Speaker 2**
You know what I mean?
**Speaker 2**
Because you practiced for half an hour and your tube all got all hot.
**Speaker 2**
You know, it's like, well, don't waste it.
**Speaker 2**
You know, use it to get the witness in the central town.
**Speaker 2**
Use it for what it's supposed to be used for.
**Speaker 2**
Don't succumb to lower desire.
**Speaker 2**
You know, we're working with lower energies in our body, but we're trying to raise them up.
**Speaker 2**
We're not just trying to work with more energy so that we can have more fun with the lower pleasures of, you know, and just waste our time.
**Speaker 2**
So that's a danger, but it's not so much an danger.
**Speaker 2**
It's kind of a danger.
**Speaker 2**
You just have to focus your mind on the goal.
**Speaker 2**
You get to get your leg voice.
**Speaker 1**
Let me just take a break. I have a question first. How many people talk to someone they
**Speaker 1**
I didn't know I was going to come out of it.
**Speaker 1**
Uh,
