<iframe src="https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jkLSatDx1Fo_JGqKE3NDpdbOxekBeKCO/preview" width="100%" height="80" allow="autoplay"></iframe> *Police* **Speaker 1** Thank you. **Speaker 1** You know, often times when we're talking about three weeks, we pitch the project that we've written. **Speaker 1** And I'm not going to pitch a project tonight, but here's the world. **Speaker 1** But we like to let you know what's happening with the project that we pitched in the past. **Speaker 1** So I think a year and a half ago, we came and we did a teaching about Jethro Kappa, who is the teacher of the first time of us. **Speaker 1** And we covered some very rare paintings, 15 rare paintings about the Pani. **Speaker 1** These monuments that I wanted to study, we worked together as well. **Speaker 1** And were carried out into that under artillery fire by 15 monks. **Speaker 1** And so we were able to, we wanted to take a book of the paintings. **Speaker 1** And we found a very ancient manuscript that describes what's happening in the painting. **Speaker 1** So this is the life story of the most important, is that we all need of all time. **Speaker 1** Então ele escreve o livro que ele escreveu sobre a carta de "Giving or Bada de Luz" **Speaker 1** So we had asked people just two years ago to contribute to preserving the paintings and translating the text and making the book. **Speaker 1** So we wanted to give you an update. We're not asking for any money. We just want to pay insurance and let you know what happened. **Speaker 1** Which I think is important when you're after a very formal work. **Speaker 1** So two years later, the whole book is translated. It's really, really beautiful. **Speaker 1** It's a 100 page introduction to the English literature based on five centuries of research **Speaker 1** through five centuries of literature. It's really, really awesome. **Speaker 1** It also tells the story of Kendrick's life in Howl, the whole early history of the Longolians in Howl. **Speaker 1** And then people here are working on it. **Speaker 1** The project of General Ch **Speaker 1** As a background in fine art, she owns several galleries in New York, but she had the same ban to a company that she does. **Speaker 1** They gave us like a half-bath. **Speaker 1** So there are very fine trades now for them, such a fine security frame. **Speaker 1** And the layout we saw in advance from a foundation for someone who worked on a layout for just a month straight. **Speaker 1** I'm very boring layout for a few. So I wanted to share with you, this is its first layout. **Speaker 1** So each of the 15 timeouts will be blown up and then split up like a jigsaw puzzle. **Speaker 1** And each scene has a separate explanation and relocated the ancient manuscripts. **Speaker 1** The analogy that's going on in each part of his life. **Speaker 1** And, uh, Ory, this guy, you know what I'm saying? He's a modern artist and he's reinterpreted some of the scenes in, uh, like graphic novel versions. **Speaker 1** And we hope to, uh, include some of those. **Speaker 1** Ben, Papa, and Alik, you know what I mean? They traveled to all Tibet last summer. **Speaker 1** They each made the whole life of Central Papa from East Tibet to Central Tibet. **Speaker 1** and each place where he had meditated or he had taught or he had learned, they took a photo. **Speaker 1** For example, a tree, there's a famous tree called the Kukum tree, which grew up when he was born. **Speaker 1** And it's called Kukum because Kukum is a hundred thousand images of him, **Speaker 1** and each thing of that tree has an image of their Kukum. **Speaker 1** So they found the tree and they took photos like that. **Speaker 1** So that will be included in the book. **Speaker 1** They did that under, you know, it's really hard to take these possible pieces of that. **Speaker 1** So we wanted to thank everyone who's worked on it. **Speaker 1** We believe that by the end of December we'll be done with the layout. **Speaker 1** Then our goal is to, our teacher, Kendrick J., he did for 20 years at a Mongolian temple in New Jersey. **Speaker 1** And that's where these paintings are located. **Speaker 1** And ever since our teacher passed away, they don't have so much money anymore, because he used to really pay all the bills, quietly. **Speaker 1** So our goal is to take a thousand books and overcharge $100 each time and present the temple **Speaker 1** 100 to keep them going. **Speaker 1** All the people that don't have much support, if you want to come to the temple, keep going. **Speaker 1** We should rejoice in everyone in the house. I think that's what people are hearing again. **Speaker 1** All the money that you've talked about. **Speaker 1** It's a life story for both of you. **Speaker 1** and the first time I would like to bring up to you in the future. **Speaker 1** I'd rather thank you for that. **Speaker 1** Thank you Father. **Speaker 1** Thank you. **Speaker 1** I hope you're going to be a reference to **Speaker 2** So take a full of your children's head. **Speaker 2** And then you'll find your body. **Speaker 2** out of probably a body's work. **Speaker 2** Make sure your entire body is made of **Speaker 2** not the better side. **Speaker 2** So you have this **Speaker 2** out of form **Speaker 2** only it's no longer **Speaker 2** made of **Speaker 2** a smaller **Speaker 2** life. **Speaker 2** Moving on to the inside of your body. **Speaker 2** The editing of God is just a student for those who have an ambition. **Speaker 2** To turn some light to the color. **Speaker 2** God bless you, God. **Speaker 2** Thank you **Speaker 2** Then in the stage where I go back and run, I get on my flight. **Speaker 2** It is the shining, shining, shining, shining. **Speaker 2** ... **Speaker 2** Thank you. **Speaker 2** Now go in the back of the front. **Speaker 1** The body should have up from the hazy **Speaker 1** "Fighting, Olympia **Speaker 2** Now we are going to be here, we are about the colors and we **Speaker 2** The Lord is **Speaker 2** These were the savage land. **Speaker 2** A bit of a local area of their clothes, **Speaker 2** burning near wood and yet hard. **Speaker 2** But they get power and strength. **Speaker 2** They're coiled in their fires. **Speaker 2** Straight as a stick, **Speaker 2** the way a saint rises and strengthens it takes. **Speaker 2** Then skewers my two-sided support **Speaker 2** will come to the state of death. **Speaker 2** So we're in the middle of Mahatma, **Speaker 2** the asma Mahatma. **Speaker 2** and this is our present part of the asana **Speaker 2** and then it's about the values of the asana **Speaker 2** and you know this asana is considered a mudra **Speaker 2** and we talk about what the difference between an asana and a mudra **Speaker 2** what's the difference? **Speaker 2** for those of you who were here. **Speaker 2** Yeah, there's one, there's a mental component, right? **Speaker 2** Two, yeah, you're using some kind of negative state **Speaker 2** potential of the rep. **Speaker 2** So you're doing an up-step, plus you're doing a front-eye-on-down **Speaker 2** down together, plus you're doing some kind of mental component **Speaker 2** and all of those three complying forms go through the rep, right? **Speaker 2** So, in a sense, you could use all as mudras if you had a strong enough focus in your asana practice. **Speaker 2** They could all be mudras. **Speaker 2** One of the things about a mudra is that it works to seal the prana into a cycle of prana in your body. **Speaker 2** Or within your body, we were talking about that. **Speaker 2** So how do we get in touch with the inner body and the inner ways and how do we make our asana practice of the mudra? **Speaker 2** Instead of just getting into the whole maha mudra, the asana maha mudra, how do we actually get in touch with the inner ways? **Speaker 2** Because it says here, you know, the Lady of Power, the Kundalini will straighten like a snake. **Speaker 2** And all of a sudden your Kundalini will rise as you get into this pose. **Speaker 2** Well how many people have done a pose? How many people have done Mahamudra here? **Speaker 2** Like almost everyone in the room now. Did that happen to you when you did the pose? **Speaker 2** Like as soon as you did it the first time? **Speaker 2** So you need something besides, like they're giving you the outer structure but then it doesn't necessarily mean that right away the lady of power shoots up your central channel and all of a sudden you're enlightened because you did this one Osmo quote. **Speaker 2** So there has to be another component there. There has to be something that is missing from this description. **Speaker 2** Because it says here, your two side channels, which is the two side of the form that they are talking about, **Speaker 2** the Ida and the Pingala are going to collapse into the center channel and come to a state of death. **Speaker 2** And you will no longer misperceive anything in your world and you will become a totally enlightened angel just by doing this one book. **Speaker 2** Wow! That's the ultimate dissolution. That's like what we were talking about in the last **Speaker 2** Kata Yoga for Deepika when you said Laya, you know, the two five channels completely **Speaker 2** dissolving into the center and all of your wings dissolving into the center of the channel **Speaker 2** and you going into the direct perception of entities and that's what they mean by the **Speaker 2** And that's the ultimate goal of all of our oxygen practice. **Speaker 2** But to tell you the truth, this is a practice that raises a lot of frana inside your body. **Speaker 2** And especially with retention. **Speaker 2** We talked about it last night, how if you do the chin lock and you're pressing at the burning at the same time, **Speaker 2** You're forcing the two winds to reverse and basically bounce into each other. **Speaker 2** And it creates an intense amount of prana in your body. **Speaker 2** And if your channels are not already open enough, that prana is going to go somewhere else. **Speaker 2** It's not going to shoot straight up the central channel, piercing all of your chakras and opening you wide open. **Speaker 2** It's going to go somewhere else. **Speaker 2** And it's going to hurt you in the process. **Speaker 2** So you need to know what else you need to do besides between yourself and this whole. **Speaker 2** Your mind needs to be incredibly sensitive in order to start to feel your inner body. **Speaker 2** Maybe you got a taste of it in the meditation and maybe you didn't. **Speaker 2** Maybe you started to feel some kind of heat. **Speaker 2** actually feel it instead of just picturing it when your eyes are closed and your inside of your body. **Speaker 2** It takes a very great deal of mental quiet to be able to get in touch with something that's so. **Speaker 2** How do you get that mental quiet? You have to move away from New York City. **Speaker 2** Absolutely not. I totally agree. I totally agree. You don't have to move from New York City. We're not talking about that kind of quiet. What we're talking about is the quiet that your mind gets when it's actually in a pure state of mind. **Speaker 2** The quiet that your mind gets when it's being kind to other people. **Speaker 2** The quiet that your mind gets when your heart is starting to open. **Speaker 2** The quiet that your mind gets when you're not doing anything to harm others. **Speaker 2** So we need to go back to the foundation again. **Speaker 2** Chapter 1 of the Papi Yoga Divigot starts flipping through the Yamas and the Yamas. **Speaker 2** I'm like, okay, this is the secret for how to get my mind quiet enough to feel that in their body. **Speaker 2** You know, flip, flip, flip. **Speaker 2** Back to page one, page two. **Speaker 2** Don't hurt anyone. **Speaker 2** You know, be kind to them. **Speaker 2** Be loving to them. **Speaker 2** Be compassionate to them. **Speaker 2** If you see somebody in need, you help them as best as you can, right? **Speaker 2** Because it will help you help them more in the future. **Speaker 2** Right? **Speaker 2** If you help them, they're giving you an opportunity to open your heart wide open. **Speaker 2** If you open your heart wide open, then when the prana starts to be generated heavily inside your body, **Speaker 2** it will go into the central center and it will be able to travel up. **Speaker 2** And then you will reach an amazing state of transformation, an amazing state of evolution, even within this very lifetime. **Speaker 2** And then you can really go back and help them. **Speaker 2** Once you reach that state, then you can really be observant to people. **Speaker 2** And keep down that's all we really want to do is help other people. **Speaker 2** Keep down, that's the thing that's most driving us. **Speaker 2** That's the thing that makes us most happy. **Speaker 2** Help others. **Speaker 2** So, you know, when you start to read this, **Speaker 2** and what you're wondering in your Oscar practice, **Speaker 2** "Why are you talking to me? I'm in the right pose and everything." **Speaker 2** You know, go back to page one. **Speaker 1** I will go on to the next person. **Speaker 1** "I want to say shayatai, shay **Speaker 1** Sure. But I wanted to talk about the word here. Mahakresha. Say Mahakresha. **Speaker 1** Mahakresha! **Speaker 1** Well, Mahakresha you know means food. It's the English of Vadyam or Medha. **Speaker 1** But the word, the interesting word here is Kresha. **Speaker 1** And we talked to you before, maybe not everybody was there. **Speaker 1** Kresa comes home through fish and fish needs to buck somebody. **Speaker 1** The word "Hali" comes from that and the word "Kamandali" comes from that. **Speaker 1** Because "Hali" has these circles on it, they're following it. **Speaker 1** In the Bible, we have to, it's like a mantra in the debate room, we have to memorize the definition of Ketia. **Speaker 1** Ketia means a negative emotion. **Speaker 1** And its definition in the scriptures is **Speaker 1** "Rang yin deni kawakati shi yin ma shi yin shi yin sema" **Speaker 1** which means "any thought or wicked of the mind which disturbs the peace of mind of the person who has it" **Speaker 1** "any thought or wicked of the mind which disturbs the peace of mind of the person who has it" **Speaker 1** It just bothers me. **Speaker 1** If it makes you feel off-roar, or if it makes you feel a stress, or your heart speeds up, or you start to get anxiety, or you start to get unhappy, then you're having a crisis. **Speaker 1** Kresha is a complete word in the Yomish position. Kresha is the enemy. **Speaker 1** Enemy is joya, is a word for a person who has achieved their mind. **Speaker 1** a synonym for a person who has achieved their mind is enemies and destroyer, our hearts. **Speaker 1** And the enemy is Klesha. The enemy is your magnetic emotion. **Speaker 1** Here he doesn't say Klesha, he says what? **Speaker 1** The Hanna Klesha. **Speaker 1** The Hanna Klesha. Yeah, the big Klesha. **Speaker 1** He says the big Klesha. **Speaker 1** So I thought, this is talking about the three big Klesha, the three granddaddy Klesha of all time. **Speaker 1** And in our tradition, in the Monashy tradition, we are trained in the Mahatma tradition with a certain painting that you may have seen. **Speaker 1** And I should have thought that you have a very long trajectory, like under the Ezekiel wheel. **Speaker 1** It's the Wheel of Life. **Speaker 1** How come the painting of the Wheel of Life? **Speaker 1** Which was designed by Lord Buddha himself. **Speaker 1** He was painted first under Lord Buddha's direct instruction. **Speaker 1** And you may not see that there is a demon holding this big wheel and the demon represents death itself. **Speaker 1** And then inside the demon's hand are all the world, the whole world is inside the demon's hand. **Speaker 1** And then around the hub of the wheel are the twelve causes of our suffering. **Speaker 1** And then in the middle of the wheel they have the root causes, which are the mahatresha. **Speaker 1** They are the worst negative emotions you can have. **Speaker 1** And they cause all other negative emotions. **Speaker 1** So, if you know the painting, what's inside? **Speaker 1** It's very simple. **Speaker 1** You have a snake, a pig. **Speaker 1** Now they say a cock or a rooster and in the Gnaya Sitra, in the Bunk Sitra, it says you're a tini, there's a rooster. **Speaker 1** So you see a rooster and a tini. There are two ways of tini, two animals. **Speaker 1** One is that each animal's tail is in the next animal's mouth. **Speaker 1** So the pig has the tail of the snake in his mouth, and the snake has the rooster tail in his mouth, and the rooster has the reno. **Speaker 1** But in the old, old, old thing, it's got better. The pig has the tail of the snake and the ribbons. It's more profound. **Speaker 1** And these three emotions in the center of the wheel of suffering are the mahatas. **Speaker 1** If you can do the Mahamudra Asana correctly, if you can learn this one yogic pose correctly, you can destroy these three animals. **Speaker 1** You can destroy these three animals. **Speaker 1** It's very, very profound to think that you could do a physical pose and destroy your negative emotions. **Speaker 1** This is the big deal about Hatha Yoga. **Speaker 1** We used to make the jokes, you know, like you never went to church and they told you to push us in the aisle and you'll be drunk with a dog and something. **Speaker 1** You know, we didn't think like that. **Speaker 1** But in Hatha Yoga, a physical position, with a certain mental attitude, **Speaker 1** destroys the 3D emotions within your heart which we have called people in heaven, **Speaker 1** and which cause all the suffering of the world. **Speaker 1** So what are these 3D emotions? **Speaker 1** They have different names. I think they're mistrust by these names. I would call them liking things, disliking things, and ignorance. Liking things, disliking things, and ignorance. **Speaker 1** So, how often do you like something or exist that thing? **Speaker 1** How often in your heart do you feel that you like something or exist that thing? **Speaker 1** Every, every day, every happy day, every happy day, **Speaker 1** if you're thinking about the room is too hot and too cold, **Speaker 1** you're thinking about the person's knee in your back, you know, like that. **Speaker 1** No, it constantly, and then it constantly this desire to have the room look. **Speaker 1** to have the light here. **Speaker 1** I'll talk loud. Our Lama is Lama for both of us today. **Speaker 1** We have 10 lots of people without a light bulb. **Speaker 1** I guess we can do it. **Speaker 1** But it's not liking things in a normal way, it's not disliking things in a normal way. **Speaker 1** It's not wrong in liking. **Speaker 1** And it's not wrong to dislike. Right? **Speaker 1** You should dislike the fact that there's a word in life. **Speaker 1** We just like the fact that the US government at least has a brain to get the dollars all on our mail. **Speaker 1** So, these are good things to like and this thing to dislike. **Speaker 1** You know, there are good things to like and wrong things to dislike. **Speaker 1** So, we like to say liking is a senior brain and disliking is a senior brain. **Speaker 1** So what is the difference between liking cheesecakes, which is all very confident, at Dylan's prime restaurant at Margo? **Speaker 1** Oh, no, no, no. **Speaker 1** Thanks to God. **Speaker 1** But, and what is the difference between that and liking something in the wrong way? **Speaker 1** Because like we're supposed to be faced out, sit in the corner and don't like anything and don't look like anything, you know? **Speaker 1** That's this little punk movie TV show I don't think. **Speaker 1** You know, like, you can hit it on the head and he'll still be... **Speaker 1** And if you get it, you can stare at him and put it in. **Speaker 1** You know, that's what I'm talking about. **Speaker 1** That's what I'm talking about. **Speaker 1** Second point, right? Second point. **Speaker 1** But I like to tell people that I was in Washington, D.C. with my mom and he had to meet Victoria and it was a fundraiser. **Speaker 1** And a lot of black people say, "We ate dinner with Victoria and Victoria is like going for the dessert." **Speaker 1** And in your mind you say, "He's that glorious, he's too enjoying this." **Speaker 1** I think a real yogi who gets rid of these three animals in their hearts, then they have the capacity to enjoy them. **Speaker 1** So if you're a high yogi, if your yoga works for you, then take a little louder. **Speaker 1** You would have the capacity to enjoy things speechless. **Speaker 1** And equally you would be very disturbed about war. **Speaker 1** Like you wouldn't sit around with your raps of action. **Speaker 1** You would put up and treat them. **Speaker 1** You would dislike them. **Speaker 1** So what's the difference between intelligent liking and stupid liking? **Speaker 1** Intelligent disliking and stupid disliking? **Speaker 1** If you do the Mahaludra pose properly, if your mental focus is correct, if you are doing the mental side, **Speaker 1** which is Mahaludra's peak shmai version that we're going to talk about later tonight, **Speaker 1** then Kana enters the central service. **Speaker 1** And then your mind is clear, and your mind is stressed, and your ignorance is leaving. **Speaker 1** So what happens then? You start to realize that all the things you like in the world come from sharing things with others. **Speaker 1** All the things you are enjoying in life are coming to you because you share things with others in the world. **Speaker 1** I've got a cheap picture of it. Why? **Speaker 1** Because I spent a few jobs in Rome, you know, and I worked really hard with my job and I made the money to be honest. **Speaker 1** That's why I can have a cheesecake tonight. **Speaker 1** So if I look at the cheesecake, right? **Speaker 1** The waiter sets them up the table. **Speaker 1** And if I look at it and I see it in my own mind, **Speaker 1** "Oh, I have this cheesecake because I share things with other people in the house." **Speaker 1** That's a really good liking. **Speaker 1** That's a good liking. **Speaker 1** Right? Because why? **Speaker 1** Because they don't leave the waiter often to it. **Speaker 1** You know, like a huge jerk. **Speaker 1** My brain-up skills and junk is just **Speaker 1** Brutas, in life being yogis in China, they're not suffering. **Speaker 1** And they're also not sitting there, not doing anything. **Speaker 1** You know? They're having food to have. **Speaker 1** So that's, like a yogi, a real yogi whose channels were open, they would dance. **Speaker 1** They would dance and have food time. **Speaker 1** Make a difference between these and how to do that. **Speaker 1** They wouldn't be standing in their foot. **Speaker 1** I think the channels are also very enjoying their offerings to their teachers or to their loved ones. **Speaker 1** Even people who might have asked me to do that week or something, they are dancing and offering that. **Speaker 1** When a yogi dancer is not like a mind-basket, it's a high off-pay. **Speaker 1** I'm like, the same thing with dislikes. **Speaker 1** I dislike them when I'm around. So what should I do? **Speaker 1** I mean a yogi whose special challenge opening because they're doing wrong with your foot, **Speaker 1** because they're doing their yoga asana job and regularly, **Speaker 1** like going to maybe do the basketball every day, **Speaker 1** they learn to dislike things in an intelligent way, in a musical way. **Speaker 1** I don't like to worry about it, so what should I do? **Speaker 1** Stop flickering with one of them. **Speaker 1** I'll be in the cab when I'm teaching. **Speaker 1** Stop upsetting your boss. **Speaker 1** You need to get enough to say. **Speaker 1** And she may be reading the answer out earlier in the presentation. **Speaker 1** I'm very, I don't know. **Speaker 1** But, like that, you see? **Speaker 1** So if you don't like something, **Speaker 1** if you don't like to see violence in your life, **Speaker 1** what does it say in the other video? **Speaker 1** "Tasana Gal" **Speaker 1** anyone else, like George Bush. A real yogi is aware that the warrior rock is coming from their central center because it's walked up by their own violence. **Speaker 1** So a real yogi, speaking of some violence in the world, they're working harder to not be violent on a personal level. **Speaker 1** Even on a tiny personal level, like arguing or arguing or arguing or something. **Speaker 1** And at the bottom of the teacher doesn't figure it, right? The pig. At the bottom of them falls into the pig. **Speaker 1** How does the pig ask? The pig ask like this: I got this cheesecake. I shouldn't eat it all myself. **Speaker 1** And I shouldn't give him a very big deal because I won't have enough money to get more cheesecake. **Speaker 1** That's the kind of ignorance. Now this is the ignorance of my teacher. **Speaker 1** that this understands where it seems to be. **Speaker 1** And then about violence, I mean, **Speaker 1** in theory, this liking of the war in Iraq would go and like, **Speaker 1** speak badly of George Bush or trying to harm George Bush, **Speaker 1** or, by the way, it doesn't mean that you can't do a peaceful demonstration, **Speaker 1** a peaceful objection. **Speaker 1** That's a reasonable disliking of the war in Iraq. **Speaker 1** It's what you should do. **Speaker 1** Like go out and march and fight against the war in a peaceful way. **Speaker 1** But this idea when I was young, we had a lot of demonstrations and things to get known. **Speaker 1** I was very optimistic. I went to jail. **Speaker 1** There were people along our group who wanted to follow, **Speaker 1** covering the buildings and things like that. **Speaker 1** There's not the ignorant disliking, because that's just another form of violence. **Speaker 1** So a wise disliking, in a simple way, would put their bodies like gun disease, would allow the **Speaker 1** government to hit their own bodies, break their own bones, in a protest against violence, and not be **Speaker 1** and despite the stand there while the slaves are hitting your land. **Speaker 1** and keep protecting against his iraq. **Speaker 1** So I think, as we get older, somehow our God is willing to be active. **Speaker 1** And I think, just a wise decision. **Speaker 1** If you do your reaction that's correct, if you do Mahana Muzaa correct, **Speaker 1** if you get inspired after your class to go do something about your God. **Speaker 1** That would be a plan that your optimal was done correctly. **Speaker 1** Your young life should transform directly into some kind of social action. **Speaker 1** This is being young correctly. **Speaker 1** It's a central channel of coping. **Speaker 1** It should imply you something today. **Speaker 1** The other, I can't stop. **Speaker 1** So look, you know, it's beating the mindset. **Speaker 1** You know, you're seeing the great path. **Speaker 1** Well, if my Buddha is just help correct you, if it's not after that, **Speaker 1** then it should lead you to be more active and more careful, more serious. **Speaker 2** - I don't know what to say about the last verse **Speaker 2** that we covered. **Speaker 2** Some people were coming up to me, **Speaker 2** So when we were talking about, he was a man named Adam's inner fire, what they call "single **Speaker 2** intervector **Speaker 2** something happens in my inner body, it seems to come up all at once. **Speaker 2** That's true. **Speaker 2** And when they talk about the snakes in the last verse that we were talking about, **Speaker 2** when the wind goes to the center channel all at once, it is like a lightning bolt. **Speaker 2** It's fine. They say that, well the central channel gets wind into it when you die and the central channel gets wind into it when you have an orgasm. **Speaker 2** Right? And so both of those, you guys probably don't remember the last time you died. **Speaker 2** I mean, I know people in the room don't have a recollection of their past life that much. **Speaker 2** they'd be like, "Oh yeah, I remember that part when I died and like, you know, the wind **Speaker 2** went into the central sandal and like, my body went rigid like this." **Speaker 2** Well, so you've got to shoot the ground the other one, you know. **Speaker 2** You've got to go back to the last time you had an orgasm and be like, "Okay, yes, my body **Speaker 2** went totally rigid because all of a sudden there was some kind of wind shooting up the **Speaker 2** central sandal in my spine, but see, it shoots in there and then it comes right back out." **Speaker 2** And that's not ideal. You see, like, you want it to shoot in the central channel and then stay there. **Speaker 2** So, when they give the age of a snake driving, it's, I don't know, people in New York, they probably don't have a lot of contact with snakes. **Speaker 2** We have a lot of contact with snakes. It's actually, when we were in three or three, it was such a blessing because I kept seeing, you know, it's Kundalini, you know. **Speaker 2** It's like trusty. It's like this power. **Speaker 2** And you would see them in the desert and they own the entire desert. **Speaker 2** They are the king of the desert and nobody messes with them. **Speaker 2** And everyone knows it. The coyotes know it. The scum's know it. The halloween's know it. **Speaker 2** Nobody messes with the state. And they can just go anywhere they want. **Speaker 2** And all they have to do is do a little *pfft* if they don't like it. **Speaker 2** And then automatically it just goes away. **Speaker 2** Whoever is bothering them just goes away. They know. They know that sound. **Speaker 2** And so the snake just wanders around the desert like, "I'm a snake." **Speaker 2** You know? And we had this sort of desert restaurant going in Green River Chate where we would ask our beautiful caretakers, **Speaker 2** "Please send us animal cookies or leather cookies." They like Danish leather cookies. **Speaker 2** and we would put them out for the animals. **Speaker 2** The coyotes actually like chocolate chip cookies. **Speaker 2** The coyotes like the Danish butter cookies. **Speaker 2** So did the... **Speaker 2** How about that? **Speaker 2** No, the burgers for the food. **Speaker 2** Yeah, the food days. **Speaker 2** They really liked the Danish butter cookies. **Speaker 2** Anyway, we had a whole big family. **Speaker 2** It's just a little bit. **Speaker 2** And we had mice, we had all this stuff. **Speaker 2** It's like, we call it McBally's restaurant. **Speaker 2** and it took a while for the snow that they were in the market, but then after a while they jumped out of the house and they were all coming. **Speaker 2** It was a great fun for me. So then, um, there's a snake story coming. And of course the snakes are like, "I love the mice." **Speaker 2** So, we had a big problem because the mice are our clients. **Speaker 2** We don't even know if they're taking the worst because our clients don't go down really fast. **Speaker 2** And we had some money, I was very touched on the money. **Speaker 2** So, we were wondering how to get the pay out of our, you know, we were living in a jerk, **Speaker 2** and then we had a 7-8% wooden tent around the year. **Speaker 2** But there were things underneath the fence where people, like little people, like bunnies and rabbits and snakes, **Speaker 2** could come in and out. And so snakes, they had pretty much an open door policy because they could come in any time of day or night. **Speaker 2** So we were like, how do we have the snakes out without blocking all the other people that want to come in? **Speaker 2** So this is a good idea. **Speaker 2** We had taken some agave sticks, like these really, really long agave sticks. **Speaker 2** That's how you know what they look like. **Speaker 2** But they're really, really tall and thick, and they go straight up to the sky. **Speaker 2** And we had broken a couple of rocks because he wanted to build a ballet bar. **Speaker 1** So anyway, we had a couple of really long agave holes lying around in our... **Speaker 2** So he decides to take the longest one and try and like nudge the snake out of our fence. **Speaker 2** Bad idea. **Speaker 2** Very, very, very bad idea. **Speaker 2** The snake, first you know, Stich Michael is like being gentle, you know. **Speaker 2** He's got like his 11 foot agobico, we're way back. **Speaker 2** We heard that the snakes, they can spring about twice their size to strike you. **Speaker 2** and they come back. So we were keeping our distance and trying to be very safe. **Speaker 2** And he was not a snake, and then the snake wasn't a roommate at all. **Speaker 2** And then the snake was going... **Speaker 2** And the snake was a battle snake. **Speaker 2** And we had our buddy in mind, so we kept going and we kept pushing. **Speaker 2** And then, um, James and Michael tried to lift the snake up. **Speaker 2** We've seen a lot of them all over. **Speaker 2** This snake gets really, really mad. **Speaker 2** And I've never seen this in my life. **Speaker 2** But all of a sudden, the snake was standing on about this tall tail. **Speaker 2** And he was straight up in the air like this. **Speaker 2** Like a straight stick. **Speaker 2** And it's like, you know? **Speaker 2** It was like this. **Speaker 2** And that, it's power. **Speaker 2** They don't have a backhoe. **Speaker 2** They just have this sauna. **Speaker 2** And then all of a sudden they're standing on air and they're like "Whaah!" **Speaker 2** And he's like "Ahhhhh!" **Speaker 2** And then I get up and his fangs are out and he's trying to get us. **Speaker 2** We're trying to jump back and it was a very dense moment of the verse. **Speaker 2** Then I figured out what it meant. **Speaker 2** First, at the Hathiopal, we had these verses, **Speaker 2** thanks to the kindness of our teachers, we had these books and our treats. **Speaker 2** And I was like, oh yeah, that's what they mean by faith, you know. **Speaker 2** That's what they mean by super leading just like, like, widening up. **Speaker 2** It's like that fast when the client shoots into the central center sometimes, you know. **Speaker 2** It's like, you take that word out and see it. **Speaker 2** It's just completely straight. **Speaker 2** Hopefully your faith doesn't come out. **Speaker 2** More gentle than that. **Speaker 2** You know, there are disagrees. **Speaker 2** There are certain degrees. **Speaker 2** Sometimes the sauna will come in very, very slowly into the special channel. **Speaker 2** And you might not even hardly notice what's happening. **Speaker 2** But secondly, your world starts to change a little bit. **Speaker 2** Everybody starts looking like they might be only angels. **Speaker 2** Or at least maybe plants are there to help you. **Speaker 2** Your worldview starts to change. **Speaker 2** Or you can really start to love everyone around you. **Speaker 2** And the feeling of love starts to come into you. **Speaker 2** And that's a sign that the prana is sort of creeping in the social channel and you're not even aware of it. **Speaker 2** But your mind is changing because of it. **Speaker 2** And in a way, the second one, you could see how the second one might be better. **Speaker 2** Right? **Speaker 2** Like, just to go a little bit slower. **Speaker 2** But I think we need both. **Speaker 2** You know, in the end, you'll need to have that practice where you can actually get all of the wind in the distance, all at once, and you do get that sort of snake lightning spying happening. **Speaker 2** Right? **Speaker 2** But you need to be able to hold it there. **Speaker 2** And, you know, that takes training. **Speaker 2** So I just wanted to clear that up in your question, or maybe more than a few people. **Speaker 2** Okay, we're going on to the next verse. **Speaker 2** We're actually going on to verse 16. **Speaker 2** Thank you. **Speaker 2** At that point there is no longer any distinction between something being healthy enough to eat. **Speaker 2** Everything, even things with no good taste, tastes wonderful. **Speaker 2** What if you take the most terrible poison and digest it as if it were the nectar milk of the garden? **Speaker 2** So on one level this is actually talking about food and on another level it's talking about, it's like a metaphor for sensory clarity. **Speaker 2** Right? On the level of food it's very true that, you know, at the beginning of your practice, especially when you're working with the inner body, you get very sensitive and you can hardly eat anything. **Speaker 2** Like you have to eat baby food. **Speaker 2** Or in India they eat Kitschari. **Speaker 2** So it's true, it's like baby food, right? **Speaker 2** Kitschari. It's like...right, Tom? **Speaker 2** Tom makes me Kitschari all the time. **Speaker 2** It's like my baby food. **Speaker 2** It's a mixture of dal and rice mixed together. **Speaker 2** And it's so easy to digest. **Speaker 2** It's like the easiest food in the whole world to digest. **Speaker 2** And when you're working with the inner body sometimes, **Speaker 2** The outer body doesn't work so well after that. **Speaker 2** You know, because you're working on a totally different realm of the body, **Speaker 2** you're working on a totally different level, and so it kind of conflicts. **Speaker 2** And it's hard to eat. **Speaker 2** But you have to eat or you'll get low. **Speaker 2** So it's like a terrible balance. **Speaker 2** And, but then, after a while, you know, as you get stronger in the practice, **Speaker 2** you can transform anything that you eat. **Speaker 2** And then any substance that you take becomes like nectar. **Speaker 2** And that's the basis of our soul practice for people who have that practice. **Speaker 2** You have an understanding of the emptiness of the substance that you are taking inside of you. **Speaker 2** And because of that you are able to transform it and because of that you can digest anything. **Speaker 2** On a more esoteric level, this first has a couple different meanings. **Speaker 2** The first meaning is the idea of some kind of equanimity in your practice. **Speaker 2** Where, like, you're doing your outside practice and you're doing, I don't know, **Speaker 2** Sometimes you're really fond of the yoga nidran pose and then you're not so fond of the other pose that comes right after it. **Speaker 2** And then you have this equanimity, you have to train your mind in this equanimity. **Speaker 2** Like, Sharon and Andy, she always used to tell me this. **Speaker 2** She was like, "Don't skip the poses that you don't like." **Speaker 2** Right? **Speaker 2** Don't skip the poses you don't like. **Speaker 2** I think every good yoga teacher would probably say the same thing. **Speaker 2** Because you have to have some kind of, um, **Speaker 2** equanimity facing the good poses and facing the bad poses, you know? **Speaker 2** And then, you, it's interesting because along the way your practice will change **Speaker 2** and then the good poses will be the bad poses and the bad poses will be the good poses **Speaker 2** and you can see it evolve and then you can see that it's all coming from your own mind. **Speaker 2** And it's a great training. It's a really great training. **Speaker 2** To get that kind of acronymity in your poses because then you can go into the outside role **Speaker 2** and then you have one taxi driver who's like driving like a mad scene to get you to the talk **Speaker 2** at least halfway on time. And then there's another taxi driver who's driving you in a circle **Speaker 2** so that you can make more money and you're wasting your time. **Speaker 2** And you have this ability to love both of them. **Speaker 2** I love you, I know you're acting like a creep, but I really love you. **Speaker 2** You know, no, but you don't, you're not fazed by like blitz in your reality. **Speaker 2** You know, you're not fazed by someone acting kind to you or someone acting not so kind to you **Speaker 2** because you practiced it in your yoga practice. **Speaker 2** And you can develop this kind of equal love for everyone. **Speaker 2** Like, I know you probably have a life and kid or family that loves you, **Speaker 2** and you're trying to make a look of the thing, and you're probably having a really rough life, **Speaker 2** and that's why you're driving me in circles. **Speaker 2** And you get to this point where no matter what, everyone's a person, **Speaker 2** and everybody's human, equal, you know, and we're all in the same state. **Speaker 2** And it doesn't really matter what kind of relationship you bump into them with. **Speaker 2** Because you see them all for the fellow human beings that they are. **Speaker 2** And it becomes this beautiful practice of eponymity. **Speaker 2** When later you will start to see everybody as your holy teacher. **Speaker 2** It's like a step higher than that. **Speaker 2** And it's the same kind of ekorasa. They call it ekorasa. **Speaker 2** And then later everything starts to appear as a physicality. **Speaker 2** Even the crazy cat driving is driving you in circles like total bliss. **Speaker 2** Right? There's no mental sickness in your mind at all. **Speaker 2** How does this happen? Because we understand everything. **Speaker 2** Because we understand everything. **Speaker 2** And that's the deeper version of this verb, pecharasa. **Speaker 2** Say Akarasa. **Speaker 2** What is Akarasa? **Speaker 2** One day. **Speaker 2** Single song. **Speaker 2** You go into meditation on everything. **Speaker 2** You start to meditate on how every single thing that you ever see or hear or smell or touch is a projection coming from your own mind. **Speaker 2** And you do it over and over and over. **Speaker 2** And eventually you get to this really deep understanding of everything. **Speaker 2** and you come out **Speaker 2** and you start to feel **Speaker 2** you start to see **Speaker 2** that everything is an illusion **Speaker 2** you start to really see **Speaker 2** like ah this cup **Speaker 2** is a projection of my own mind **Speaker 2** coming from my past **Speaker 2** needs of what I did to other people **Speaker 2** it's not out there **Speaker 2** it looks like it's out there **Speaker 2** it looks like I can pick it up **Speaker 2** and I can put it over there **Speaker 2** and it's separate from me **Speaker 2** but really I know it's coming from my mind **Speaker 2** And it's exactly the same with this flower. **Speaker 2** This flower is exactly the same as the cup. **Speaker 2** The cup, it's yellow. **Speaker 2** It's hard. **Speaker 2** I can break it if I drop it. **Speaker 2** The flower, it's pink. **Speaker 2** It's strong. **Speaker 2** I can drop it and it'll never break. **Speaker 2** Are they the same thing? **Speaker 2** They're both a projection of my mind. **Speaker 2** Right? **Speaker 2** And so in that sense, they're both the same stuff. **Speaker 2** Exactly the same stuff. **Speaker 2** They're a mental thing. **Speaker 2** They are a mental image. They are all exactly the same. Are these two things exactly the same? **Speaker 2** In that sense, yes they are. Yes they are. **Speaker 2** They are all the mental image. You see it's all the mental image. Even your own body. **Speaker 2** It's a mental image. All made of the same stuff as this is made of and this is made of. **Speaker 2** Everything around you. Same stuff coming from your mind. And you see that. You see this illusion. **Speaker 2** And everything is Echarratha. Oh, Echarratha. It's all the same. **Speaker 2** And then, you know, someone comes up to you and says they're being negative to you and it's totally not a thing. **Speaker 2** Because you see through the things. Like you see, it's just a perception. It's just a feeling. **Speaker 2** It's just this, you know, it's like a dream. **Speaker 2** And you can no longer be fooled by it. **Speaker 2** And that's when everything starts to become a character. **Speaker 2** Right? And then that, because you're no longer fooled, you no longer react to negative things, **Speaker 2** then you stop the cycle. **Speaker 2** Like how do you get people who are anointing to you? **Speaker 2** Like you were going back, right? So you continue a cycle. **Speaker 2** But if you get to this point where everything is an illusion and you're not cool and it's all X or Alpha, you stop the cycle. **Speaker 2** You just stop it right there and it's trapped and then all of a sudden you're not making any negative cycles anymore. **Speaker 2** And your life starts to go straight up, skyward. Like everything starts to be great. **Speaker 2** everything starts to be blissful because you're not doing any of these downspires anymore. **Speaker 2** Like you only need nice people. You only need beautiful people, kind people, holy people. **Speaker 2** All day long, all night long. You're surrounded by them all the time. You can't get away from them. **Speaker 2** So you get holier and holier. And you're not wondering what you're doing out here teaching. **Speaker 2** Because you know, everybody looks so much older than you do. **Speaker 2** And it's a wonderful process, right? **Speaker 2** But it all, it all stems on that deep understanding everything. **Speaker 2** Ever. **Speaker 1** Um, right. **Speaker 1** Okay. **Speaker 1** I am a Christian, I am **Speaker 1** Instead of thinking, if you go to a daily practice, a modest daily practice and not a 4 hour quite a week practice. **Speaker 1** Ok? Think different: a modest daily practice as opposed to like a 3 hour practice versus a week. **Speaker 1** the body changes. Anyone who has a regular asma practice, they know it. **Speaker 1** Like, you don't take cold anymore. You don't feel tired anymore. **Speaker 1** You can eat anything. And you don't get fat either. You know? **Speaker 1** It's like if you have a regular asma practice, something is changing inside the body. **Speaker 1** And this boy was about, he said an interesting thing. **Speaker 1** What he's saying is that if you do Mahatma Jutta, regularly, you are not the subject to very serious abuse. **Speaker 1** I think in now being at this point, they would say cancer and age etc. **Speaker 1** You wouldn't get those things. Why? **Speaker 1** Because your inner humor, your inner elements are in style. **Speaker 1** What we call dosha. Say dosha. **Speaker 1** Do you want to say it really right? **Speaker 1** Curl your tongue back. **Speaker 1** Do-ha-shal. **Speaker 1** Oh yeah. **Speaker 1** Uh... **Speaker 1** Dosha means something wrong. **Speaker 1** Because in truth, you know that. **Speaker 1** Like, this function comes from that. **Speaker 1** Mmm... **Speaker 1** And you know there are three, but I don't know if you have a couple of times. **Speaker 1** By the way, I've learned these things at Nancy Kimmer's house. **Speaker 1** How old is it about her? **Speaker 1** 31. **Speaker 1** Her daughter was in her arms when I was translated for Mishin Dishman, **Speaker 1** in her house, 31 years ago. **Speaker 1** And that's what I learned about. In society management, the three humans are very important. **Speaker 1** Actually he's a talented person, he started getting here to talk to you someday. **Speaker 1** He's the greatest living society doctor. **Speaker 1** And Zoshan means the tendency of the body to be warm, or the tendency of the body to be cold, and like that. **Speaker 1** Basically it's that. **Speaker 1** So what he's saying is, this asana can prevent serious medical problems because it goes to the root of the medical problems, which are the elements within your own body. **Speaker 1** The basic elements of heat and cold and movement and things like that. **Speaker 1** So, I do a word to keep you healthy because it goes for the causes of disease. **Speaker 1** It changes the causes of disease. **Speaker 1** And this is very, very important. **Speaker 1** In Iron Manic medicine or in Tibetan medicine or Chinese medicine, the idea is go for the cause of disease. **Speaker 1** Like, don't cut the tumor off. **Speaker 1** "I'm not doing anything." You know, "If you cut the tumor out, it doesn't change the force which causes it." **Speaker 1** "Try to change the force which causes it." So, this verse is very profound. **Speaker 1** He says, "Don't go for the tumor. Go for the forces under the tumor. Change them and the tumor will go away." **Speaker 1** And we have students in this room who had cancer 20 years ago and used these methods. **Speaker 1** And they're still fine. **Speaker 1** Very, very significant. **Speaker 1** They're fine. **Speaker 1** We are friends who have very severe forms of leukemia. **Speaker 1** But be careful with leukemia. **Speaker 1** And they're fine. **Speaker 1** Very beautiful. **Speaker 1** Their ophthalmins are so beautiful they use it as a marvelous time. **Speaker 1** So, how does that work? How does the apnea achieve the cause of the disease? **Speaker 1** It's not what it is like. It's not what it is like. It's not a physical thing. **Speaker 1** What he's saying is, go for the real concept. Go for the real concept. **Speaker 1** When we shared the... when he gave his song 30 years ago in her apartment, I remember, **Speaker 1** he said something that rather causes cancer. **Speaker 1** And Dr. Durnan said, "Natey will take out all canned food causes cancer. **Speaker 1** All the chemicals in canned food causes cancer. **Speaker 1** These who are eating all the elements of the food causes." **Speaker 1** It means that all electrical wires are built, cost-tenters. **Speaker 1** The electromagnetic force created by the wires in the walls of all your buildings cost-tenters. **Speaker 1** The rubber stuff that wears off the tires of every car in the yard is poisoning the citizens of the yard. **Speaker 1** They cost-tenters. These are cost-tenters. **Speaker 1** So, you know, the whole week got quiet and everybody was willing to stop. **Speaker 1** And then, uh, and then later on he had a question to answer. **Speaker 1** I was there for a great day, so many seconds. **Speaker 1** I was living in our community with his dad. **Speaker 1** He said, look, I'm a, I'm just a regular guy, you know. **Speaker 1** I live in New York City, so this is my positive answer. **Speaker 1** What can I do, you know? **Speaker 1** When I translated it to the doctor's answer, I didn't say that was a constant. **Speaker 1** I said, "Hey, there's no way you're stupid." **Speaker 1** I said that's not specifically the answer. I think it's a constant. **Speaker 1** Well, what's different? I'm translating it to a constant. **Speaker 1** No, specifically it's different, you know? **Speaker 1** The cause of cancer is no money. **Speaker 1** The cause of cancer is your negative emotions. **Speaker 1** It's the minus record you've been talking about. **Speaker 1** It's like you think in a long way, where you hurt someone together. **Speaker 1** It's like you think in a long way. **Speaker 1** And it's the ignorance that makes you do that. **Speaker 1** Those are the causes of cancer. **Speaker 1** You come along the lines, you know. **Speaker 1** What do you think causes the tires and the electricity and the economy? **Speaker 1** It's your ignorance, your desire, your ignorance. **Speaker 1** Take some poison. **Speaker 1** They are not going to sweat themselves. They are not proper-centred. **Speaker 1** They are the medium by which your own negative thoughts will be something. **Speaker 1** They are the medium to which your negative thoughts were. **Speaker 1** So, Mahabudra, the idea of Mahabudra is: if you take this properly, if the mental thought is properly, **Speaker 1** You are the source of the essential service. **Speaker 1** What do you call it? Solium Dichardiography. These are neutral. They are empty. **Speaker 1** They have no power to cause cancer. Why? They don't cause cancer in everybody. **Speaker 1** Lots of people in cancer know why they're going to be cancer. They don't cause cancer. **Speaker 1** If they are charged with negative karma, if they are used with negative karma, if you hurt people, then those things will be you can. **Speaker 1** So the cool thing about this afternoon is it grows in the story of the soul. **Speaker 1** It changes how you clean. Right? **Speaker 1** I like that story. I really like that story because I don't know if you have to remember. **Speaker 1** Then he said, "Can you tell him one more thing?" **Speaker 1** And I said, "One, two, tell that guy about the car and sell regular or normal." **Speaker 1** And I said, "You know, empty box." **Speaker 1** In English, he used to say, "Come, it's not normal." **Speaker 1** No! I don't know what I mean. **Speaker 1** Don't ever think you're a normal person. That's very bad. **Speaker 1** You're a special. **Speaker 1** Having thought you were a normal person. **Speaker 1** Having thought you were a bad person. **Speaker 1** Never caught yourself. **Speaker 1** Some of you were a normal person. **Speaker 1** Very bad person. **Speaker 1** You're not very upset. **Speaker 1** Right? **Speaker 1** You're a very, very man. **Speaker 1** That's a fact that you're a man with a competition. **Speaker 1** And that's why it's true you won't get serious disease that you do in your life. **Speaker 1** Thank you.
