Taken From England's Orchard: POLLINATION: Certain fruit and nut trees require a pollinator (a different variety) to produce fruit. These trees are grafted chestnuts, seedling chestnuts (any 2 seedlings will crosspollinate each other), Heartnuts, pecans, almonds, walnuts, and persimmons. Most other varieties of fruit and nut trees are not self-pollinating and will do better with another variety for cross-pollination. REPLACEMENT POLICY; England’s Orchard and Nursery cannot be held responsible for cultural conditions that are beyond our control. However, if the tree(s) do not brake dormancy they will be replaced at no charge and if the tree should die with in a (7) Seven Month period of purchase the tree(s) will be replaced at a 50% replacement rate plus the cost of shipping and handling. No replacement will be given after this period. Warranty of tree(s) only applies to a one-time replacement of the trees that does not leaf out the second time. Note Persimmons and Jujube trees must be given at least till July of the year ordered to break dormancy. Pawpaws should be watered with an acidic solution, {Beer or vinegar one pint to a 5-gallon bucket of water} once a month throughout the summer in addition to normal watering pawpaws and persimmons require a pH of 5.0 to 6.5. Please be advised we cannot be responsible for climatic changes. Droughts and sudden freezes after trees are leafed out may severly damage trees. Damages caused due to drought and sustained periods of freezing will be the owner’s responsibilities please take necessary precautions to prevent such damages. If for some reason, we are out of something due to a shortage in stock, or an error that we have made, we will ship a substitution variety of the same species or like the species ordered. We will work with all customers on one to one bases in any response of customer satisfaction. Please no fertilizing of trees that have been shipped bare root for a period of one year after planting.
